I realize that 4B II really crapped out as soon I was done finishing it. But there's always a chance of revising that story. (I would love to revise it when I have the time. For now, however, I plan on taking a break from writing and try to gather some more events to jot down. Hope you guys like this one. Enjoy!

Gun and Infiltration Training
February 15, 2003
1230 Hours
The young lieutenant stares forward with his H&K 416, a new weapon that was handed to every division of Infiltration and Operations Department. It is already noon, the sun is beginning to bake into his white collar shirt; the black armor over his shirt was beginning to itch badly as well. He hides in a simulated town, in a deserted intersection behind a banged up vehicle.
“Bravo 4 to Marauder 9, present with Bravo 2- I reached rally point 3. No hostile’s detected sir” radios Sergeant Corpuz.
“This is Bravo 1; I have arrived to rally point 4. No targets identified” said Sergeant Monet.
Corpuz and Johnson are 1200 feet from Iwamura’s position, just west of him. But Monet and Cortez are somewhere ahead to the right, looking for the other squadron.
Shadow squadron 3 has been deployed to take down a flag owned by Shadow squadron 2; A battle between the shadow divisions. Squadron 5’s flag was already in squadron 3’s possession and were capitulated by squadron 3.
Monet, Corpuz, Johnson and Cortez are in his vicinity. Those guys are Bravo team. Each man in Bravo team at least possesses a H&K 416, a Submachine gun MP5A2, a G3A3, and the B&T MP9 submachine gun.
A sudden burst came upon Lieutenant Iwamura’s view; ripples of the other squad’s machine gun spotted him as he hides behind the car’s engine. The engine will protect anyone since it’s the heaviest object of the car and the most secure.
“Where’s it coming from?” said Lieutenant Iwamura.
He snuck a look at the building in front of the intersection and saw a well dress sniper with his gun prowling for his body part. The young man takes out his own M1903 rifle and quickly shot the sniper’s head. Because it’s a simulation, the bullets are replaced with red paint.
“Bravo team, advance and plunder squadron 2’s flag. Latest intelligence says the flag has been move from area delta 5 by alpha 2’s leader. Charlie team, secure our flag; use of maneuver Val Hellas has been granted.
Val Hellas is another simulation of air support and missiles sent by the Navy when needed.
The remaining five members of Charlie team are currently 500 feet behind them, as security team armed with M1903-A4 sniper rifle (better known as the USMC’s M1903-A1/Unertl) and the infamous SMG-PK.
Charlie team acknowledges the Lieutenant’s orders and Captain Sakato, Iwamura’s superior radios in.
“Marauder 9 Marauder 9, you have one hour until D Day.”
“I acknowledge Shadow 1” says Lieutenant Iwamura.
Then he runs out of his hiding place, running straight passing the intersection and instantly pointed his 416 onto the building where he could have sworn he saw the flag in there. Iwamura’s rifle shoots three men protecting the lobby of the building. Each of them went down when shot at the chest.
“Marauder 9 to Shadow 1, instruct Bravo and Charlie team to regroup in my position. Use of H&K 416 has been granted.”
More men from squadron 1 started to flood into Ryo’s position, trying to outflank him. The Captain of squadron 1 is also present, shooting Ryo with his own H&K 416. One by one, each squadron 1 member fell back, being shot only by Captain Iwamura’s rifle shooting.
The captain of squadron 1 is said to be named after his father, Tyrone Marcus. African American and a retired member of the Marines, he joined the Infiltration Division to get into more action.
Lieutenant Iwamura’s squad soon joined into the fighting, hiding behind walls for cover and throwing flash bang grenades into the hallway. The hallway is soon covered with bullet holes and Ryo soon realize the Captain of squadron 1 is not retreating nor is he coming forward.
Squadron 3’s flag was still under protection of Charlie team and it proves difficult to press forward by one member blocking them. Something must be done now or the time limit will be reach.
“I’ll have to jump onto him and silence him on my own” thought Ryo.
Then the unbelievable happened.
Ryo Iwamura ran through the long hallway dodging both of his allies and enemy’s bullets, running straight to Captain Marcus at full speed. Captain Marcus is still firing at the others but did not catch Lieutenant Iwamura’s rapid approach. Lieutenant Iwamura draws out his Filipino bolo knife that Sergeant Corpuz gave him as a birthday present a year ago and slashes his enemy’s hand in one draw.
The Captain of squadron 1 fall down, writhing in pain and stares at his enemy’s eyes, whose eyes are not filled with sympathy, but with hunger for blood.
“Get up” growls Lieutenant Iwamura.
Captain Marcus does not reply, only moaning in pain as blood trickles down. The cold lieutenant grabs hold of the Captain’s neck in a rough manner, disregarding the officer’s rank. Iwamura throws the injured man into the wall, yelling insults.
“Suck it up Marine! Just because you got your damn hand banged up doesn’t mean you should stop firing at your goddamn enemies! Where’s your balls you need them huh Captain?! Oh wait I forgot” Lieutenant Iwamura swears “You don’t have balls to protect anymore because I was the one that cut them up for you.”
The members of squadron 3 could only watch in an inspiration trance but shook their minds away from the sight. Captain Sakato motions the others to look for the flag while Lieutenant Iwamura interrogated the Captain.
“So what the hell are you still doing here Marine? Get yourself to a corpsman before you bleed yourself to death. GO!” yells Lieutenant Iwamura.
Captain Sakato approaches Iwamura as he sheathes his bolo knife back to its place. Iwamura looks up at the Captain and he then stares at the retreating figure of Captain Marcus.
“I’m surprise of how you’ve treated Captain Marcus, Lieutenant Iwamura” says Captain Marcus.
Lieutenant Iwamura silently grabs his rifle and walks with Captain Sakato, in search of squadron 1’s flag. Iwamura ignores the Captain’s replies but now and then, he replies by a simple nod or a grunt. Both men jog up the stairs from the end of the corridor and swept the floor, until a huge room of what must be a piano room stood. In the middle, the flag of squadron’s 1 stood and was not flying- no air was in circulation here but something does not feel right.
Captain Sakato told his men to stay put, and walk around the circumference of the flag. A mine or exploding device seems to be planted around here, since the floor of the room seems to be tampered with. Sakato stares up into the ceiling and his eyes widen.
The sound of someone walking gave the enemy away.
“Shoot the ceiling! It’s an ambush!” yells Captain Sakato.
Iwamura, Monet, Corpuz, and Sakato crouch to their knees as they shot the ceiling, hearing the sounds of enemies up stairs crying out. Members of Charlie team jumped and grabbed squadron’s 1 flag, then retreated the hell out of there, with some of Bravo team members.
But just before Lieutenant Iwamura and Captain Sakato could retreat, another sound filled the air.
“Captain Sakato, you have become dull of your duty of maintaining the Shadow Squadron. How do you respond to that?!” a man yells at the Captain.
The members of the Shadow Squadron stop firing their H&K rifles from hearing the loud voice. The Captain and a man in his mid-sixties are behind my colleagues and me- blocking the artificial sunlight poring into the building we are fighting in.
“Commander on deck!” I yell.
Everyone who was firing their weapons looks at the Commander and salutes.
I stare at the man who yelled, recognizing the man as Commander Ryan Rondolos, chief of Infiltration and Operations Department. Dress in a crisp uniform of an impersonating Navy Rear Admiral, he is the superior to the inferior Sakato. An officer of hard discipline in thirty years CIA has ever produced, no one ever talks back to Commander Rondolos.
“I…I’m-sorry” Captain Sakato stammers. At the time of the exercise, Sakato was with Charlie team while I was with Bravo team.
Captain Sakato is a man in his late twenties, just graduated from MIT four years back from taking Criminal Justice and transfers from the counter-terrorist unit. I never thought he can talk back to a man like Rondolos.
“SORRY?! WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU’RE SORRY?!” yells the Commander “SORRY BECAUSE YOU GOT YOUR THUMB UP YOUR ASS OR SORRY BECAUSE YOU FORGOT TO TELL MY DAUGHTER YOU’RE SORRY BECAUSE YOU CHEATED ON HER!?”
Cheated on his daughter!? How could he cheat with a sexy looking chick like her!? Oh man, this is not good. Everyone who heard the Commander’s word has their jaw open as though a nuclear warhead drop down on us. The Shadow Squadron, which I belong to right now, contains ten personnel who are attach to this squadron-not including Captain Sakato since he’s just an advisor to us. Only seven people in the whole world know about us, other than that, we are black-black as in the shadows of the dark. Commander Rondolos are one of the seven who knows us.
Security Intelligence arrives to the scene, going next to Captain Sakato. The security intelligence is the police of Infiltration and Operations Department. (Like SOULS are the police of Mithril.)
“Get your ass outside this place so no one knows what’s going on” the Commander whispers coldly to a scared Sakato.
Commander Rondolos watches the Captain walk away with the two men in black SWAT gear and he faces us with his commanding look.
“I am sorry to have bothered your exercise” he calmly says “But I have been extremely agitated ever since reports of the infiltration of South Korea’s Prime Minister started flowing.”
He pauses, trying to think of more to say. I felt my skin getting goose bumps because our squadron was the one that infiltrated the Prime Minister, who was busy getting crunked everyday and ignoring U.S. orders to stop hiring underage girls to being his slaves.
The Prime Minister didn’t follow orders and the squadron killed him on the spot he got his drugs. We made sure his body got shot like he was attacked by some notorious Korean gang and left numerous trails all over the place. It is very chaotic at South Korea so do not bother to research more.
“I will see that Captain Sakato be relieve of his duties not because of what he has done to my daughter but of his negligence of not training you guys to the best of your ability. So let me ask you a question: Who here is second of command of the Shadow squadron?”
All ten of us knew the answer to Commander Rondolos’ query. It is me who is second of command of the squadron. No one took a chance of speaking, in case the Commander starts to yell.
Gulping, I step forward from the gun range and salute to him alone for the first time.
“That will be me sir. I am Lieutenant Ryo Iwamura, second executive officer in command of the Shadow squadron” I said straightly.
Commander Rondolos stares at my face, as if he suddenly remembers me from somewhere. It took awhile for him to speak and quietly, he returns my salute.
“I have heard of a young man who is part of the Shadow but I never thought that same person would be second in command.”
“I thank you for the kind complement sir” I said.
“Please stop by my office around 1300 hours Lieutenant, we have something important to discuss. I hope that everyone here is okay. As you were gentlemen” he said while he departs.
“Yes sir, I will do that” I saluted.
The men came to me suddenly and shook hands with me, saying they are please that someone like me could speak to the iron Rondolos.
“Iwamura” said Cortez, a former police informant “If you become our Captain that would be so cool.”
“Yeah man” said Sergeant Corpuz “If you are our Captain, things will go smoothly since we all know everyone a lot.”
“I agree” I said.
“Not to mention” said Corporal Johnson “When you do become Captain, wouldn’t you be receiving more hardcore missions’ sir?”
The men agree and I happily hid my smile.
I arrive to the Commander’s office, which is located a little far from the fire ranch. Operations Department is tight in every way possible, making the journey long than I expect it to be. Though I try to shut the idea off my mind, I wonder what the man has to talk to me about. Making my way around one guard of the security intelligence, I notice that he was the only guard present in front of the Commander’s office.
“Ah, Lieutenant Iwamura, Commander Rondolos is expecting you” said the secretary across from the guard.
The guard snapped to when I stood in front of him. He saluted first and I saluted back.
“Lieutenant Iwamura, as security protocol, you are to declare all firearms to me. Your firearms will not be confiscated- just temporary seized. Failure to declare firearms will result your rank and name to be filed to Director of Operations. Do you understand what I am telling you, Lieutenant?” ask the guard.
“Yes sir I understand” I said to him as I took out my weapons.
I gave the guard my Beretta M92F, Glock 29SF, and Glock 24 pistols. I also gave him my automatic baton which he and I both smirked at because we both know it’s a weapon that gives a man a run for his life when used appropriately.
He presented an electronic notepad after so I could swipe my credentials over it to know I went to the office. The notepad flashed green and the guard turned right to march on the side of the door. The guard’s posture was soon at ease and stared forward into the vicinity of space.
“Thank you sir and ma’am” I said to the guard and secretary. I walk to the two golden door and knocked twice before I hear his voice to welcome me in.
I step into his office, awed in what his office contains. Walls full with legendary commanders in mankind’s military; it is no surprise Commander Rondolos is who he is today. Saluting to him in private is strange because no one is present but him and me.
“Lieutenant Ryo Iwamura reporting for the meeting sir” I said.
“At ease, take a sit” he says with a nod.
I sat on the comfy chair as he ordered and I nod to him for what the purpose of the meeting is about.
“Like I said, I have Captain Sakato relieve of his duties, making him reassign to Europe, around Berlin. There were numerous reports that he’s been behind for reporting to us about your progress into training. I conducted the investigation and found that he was malingering three days a week.”
Shit, the Captain was neglecting his duties like the previous Captains before him did.
“And so, I made sure he will never come back again. You are a genuine breed Iwamura” he pause to take out whiskey “How you got into this group in the first place is a mystery to me. Would you mind telling me the story?”
The Commander offers me a drink of juice and I accept it. Where should I begin?
“Sir, my mother, whose name is Catherine Iwamura, was the person who suggested I enter CIA.”
“CATHERINE IWAMURA?!” he exclaims “Son, that woman is one of the most hard ball people ever living in the CIA. She knows me since I trained her myself years ago and I tell you, your mother is very talented. You must be happy to have a mother like her who commands with an iron fist.”
“Yes sir, I thank you for the compliment. I get that a lot” I pause “So my mother arranges the job for me because she had connections within the Department and wanted me to experience different types of jobs until I found a job I like.”
Mom was very energetic when she told me I was better off joining Infiltration and Operations because it was a department that did things very straightforward with no political bullshit or financial issues. By the time I knew it; I remember signing a contract with a fountain pen writing my name.
I was almost in every division of the department, so I encountered lots of jobs that were just incredible to me. Never thinking of what I really wanted to do, I took occupations here and there. But I remember being in Security Intelligence first when I joined so that was very exciting. Then there was the RTO division, and Medical & Science division. The last division was Reconnaissance & Intelligence Gathering. I didn’t have the chance into that division because I had to have some real good experience in my belt of having in been in special operations background. I didn’t have that so I was not qualified.
“After getting settled in INFOPEDEP, I did all sorts of jobs and training whenever it was needed or I needed to take. Fifteen months pass by and I receive an order to join the Infiltration Division, Shadow squadron 3, under the ranking of Lieutenant. There was a problem with the squadron because it lacked leadership since most of the Captains before me were not thoroughly experience enough.”
“So this was before Captain Sakato came here I presume?” Commander Rondolos ask.
“Yes sir” I answer “I took the position of Lieutenant and began to redesign the chain of command and protocol of the Shadow squadron’s combat training. Since then, there has not been any problem from the men or the missions we have been given so far.”
The Commander sat in his chair taking all of the information all in. My squadron has come a long way and I am sure that I have done something great.
“Not bad for being second in command, but how would you like it to be Captain of the Shadow squadron and Commander of all squadrons of the Infiltration Division?”
I look up in disbelief to the words of Captain. Never in my life did I ever dream of becoming a Captain. It is a wish I’ve never wish before. What to say to him now, can affect my life starting now.
“I will accept the position of being Captain Sir. The men in the squadron look up to me as a leader and hope I become a leader someday.”
He pours me a cup of whiskey even though I am underage to drink.
“Son, the men’s wishes has been granted. Approval has been sent and approve by the Director of CIA and all seven of us congratulate you. I, Commander Ryan Rondolos, hereby proclaim you Captain Ryo Iwamura of Shadow Division” he says.
The commander shows me his hand and I took it, making us shake hands.
“Thank you sir” I manage to say with no stutter ness.
Taking a small box out from his desk, Rondolos puts the box on his desk and pushes it straight to me. After that, he takes a folder that is currently on his desk and opens it to the front page.
“Open the box” he says quietly.
I did as he told and I took the box in my hands. Opening the box slowly, I see the containment in the box. In it are a Captain’s medal and the insignia of the Shadow squadron, which shows a beautiful lady bearing a shield front of her that contained three pictures. The pictures were a scythe on the top left, arrows on the top right, an Assault Rifle 15 on the bottom left and in the middle was a thunderbolt- bearing the motto that says on top of the insignia “Quod semper, quod ubique, quod ab omnibus.” The Latin sentence translates to: what (has been held) always, everywhere, by everybody. On the bottom of the insignia are the words inscribe: Duty is the sublimest word in our language. Do your duty in all things. You cannot do more; you should never wish to do less.”
That infamous quote previously inscribed is by the Confederate leader, General Robert E. Lee, which was supposedly written down to his son during the last days of the Civil War.
“You have been promoted to Captain, Ryo Iwamura. As Commander of Infiltration and Operations, here is your new mission starting today” he said while he passes me a thick manila folder.
Taking the folder from slowly, I open the contents of classified material of all I ever need to know about someone I already know.
My eyes became wide for Commander Rondolos to see. He can only stay silent.
“Captain Iwamura, the person you are looking at has a high probability of being a spy for an unknown organization. We do not know if she knows your job but if she does, it is most likely she will receive orders to kill you. I understand you already know this person very well and all seven of us agree that you are to keep that person under your watch at all times”
The chief stops for a second and spoke again.
“However, she cannot know you are guarding her. You are only to protect her when needed so use clear judgment Captain. You cannot tell her who you work for, why do you guard her, or tell her your true position. There maybe times when you have to let go of something you hold precious most Captain… remember that.”
“A penetration agent from Recon & Intel Gathering Division was able to give us his last report before he died last week from the person’s organization. His report stated that there is mass production of unknown Arm Slaves currently in Europe. It’s not a M6, so there’s been talk that it is a new AS which we are still trying to research about. We do know it is not the M9 because this AS has more technology being developed before it. The agent wrote there is a suspicious connection with that person you know, that AS, and the organization. From that report, I think this organization is huge but not huge enough that a lot of people would know about” he said quietly.
Haleigh…
Why her? Why does it have to be her of all girls in the world? Why does it have to be the girl I’ve come to trust?
Thoughts about her are flooding into my mind. I cannot stop them from coming into me. Her soft voice echoes in my ears, displacing the Commander’s commands.
“…I would like to be your Polaris, so you can always tell me how you feel. You don’t have to hide your sad thoughts away from me Ryo… It doesn’t matter what happens to me, as long as you are happy, I will be happy. With you, I can do anything.”
I am lost to what I must do. There has never been a moment that I have been in this situation in my life or my occupation. What am I to do? This is wrong, why was I even chosen for this mission? Was it a set up? And who is... what is this organization?
“Do you understand everything I just told you?”
“Sir, I understand your orders” I said slowly.
“Good. You are to forward your reports to intelligence branch 3 from now on and your new uniform is being delivered to your new quarters as we speak. Also, your plane to go back is scheduled for departure at 2200 hours.
“Thank you sir” I respond.
“Dismissed Captain” he replies.
Living Quarters of Captain Iwamura
February 13, 2005
1345 Hours
Getting packed up after receiving my briefing from Commander Rondolos is difficult. Stuffing my bag with the things I brought from my apartment into the same bag to go home, feels like I will never be given a chance to be in peace.
“You told her you will be there for her” my mind says “So why are you backing out now? Just because she’s the enemy you’re gonna walk out on her? How can you do this to her when you know your job doesn’t allow you to do just that?”
“That’s stupid of me” I said angrily “How can I say that now when I was the one to volunteer myself to this mission I’ve wanted to do?!”
I suddenly threw the half through bag into the wall, making a slight sound of groaning from the walls.
“I love Haleigh alright!? It doesn’t mean I’m going to walk out on her because I’m NOT going to do that. I told her I will always be there for her.”
“Why does it have to be Haleigh?! Why does it have to be the girl I love so much?!”
My mind replies “How do you kill the person you love so much? But then again, does she really love you? Have you ever thought she’s an infiltration agent like you?”
I stare at the wall feeling as though I’ve been deceived by the girl I love- who is just trying to know my job motive and kill me like a pawn.
She is an agent that will only execute anything her superiors say to her to do. But everything she has done- her smile, her laughter, her sadness, are they the truth about her?
Everything she has said, were they just lies for me to know about? I should have known but I didn’t confirm my doubt if she’s an agent.
Or is she only hiding behind a mask she has created?
Agents part of any organizations is expected to create many aliases, including many masks that will help conceal their true self. If Haleigh really is an agent, she can only be one type of spy: A penetration agent.
A penetration agent is a master of infiltration that can and will break into anything he or she is told to break into. They are the worst ghosts to ever encounter because there is no possibility if they are who they really are.
I am that kind of breed.
And Haleigh’s that kind of person.
Balling my two fists into two, I sank myself to my bed, starting to have a blur vision. There were the sounds of a faint footstep approaching but I didn’t bother to listen.
Nothing matters anymore.
“Ryo”
I have my face to the bed, not looking at the person who spoke my name.
“Ryo look at me” said the voice again.
The voice is soft, soothing, and familiar to me. I turn opposite of me to look at the girl who spoke my name. My vision cannot fail me.
The voice who spoke my name is a girl I was friends with ever since we met years ago. Her name is none other than Angel Myers.
Angel puts her hand on my cheek where tears are still falling down. She has a uniform I am unfamiliar with, that is a color normally high command officers will wear in headquarters. Her sleeves endowed with two dark bands and a black necktie to finish the uniform up. The patch on her right shoulder however, is embroidered with a huge sword in front of a globe, having one single word: Mithril.
“Ryo” she says with her soft voice “What’s wrong?”
“Why does the girl I love so much have to be my enemy?” I ask “Why does it have to be her?”
Angel smiles at me while she wipes the tears from my cheek. She hasn’t change since the last time we saw each other a year ago.
“Although she will be your enemy by name, she will be the girl you will love. You shouldn’t worry Ryo because you now have a reason to protect her.”
I turn away from her and punched the wall so hard, I made a hole of five inches in diameter, which took her by surprise.
“How can I protect the girl I love when I know that I will lose her just like I lost you?” I ask when my body collapse to the carpet.
“Take care of her, always smile and always be there for her, just like you did with me when we were together” she smiles “Every lady would know that because that’s what they all want from their man.”
She pauses for a moment while she takes me into her arms. My head rests on her lap while she smoothes my hair gently. “Any girl who will have you as their boyfriend will be lucky Ryo. You have love that no other boy has. It’s something that any girl will realize because you show it even though your body doesn’t tell you.”
Her eyes… Since when have they started to look so bright but yet so sad?
“You are so genuine Ryo” she speaks sadly “You are so kind, respectful, reserve, you know you would go out of your way to help a girl when she doesn’t realize she does need help. Though you never acknowledge your help to anyone, I believe you do this because you know everyone always need help. The girl you love will also see it, just like I saw it with my eyes when I last saw you after we broke up.”
Angel and I stare at each other, both blushing at the same time because not too long ago, I asked her out while we were friends and she accepted. It was awkward so I broke it off two weeks later. And that was two years ago, when I just started learning about love.
Her words… It was as if they are the words I’ve been searching for all this time. The words reflect my soul. So how can I say I can’t protect the girl I love just because she’s an enemy by name? It is better that I protect her rather than die not being able to protect her.
“Thank you… Angel” I whisper sadly while tears start flowing down my cheek.
She can only smile her genuine smile I won’t forget because her smile is the sun to my heart.
“You’re welcome Ryo” she said.
“The reason I came here” Angel continues “Is to give you update orders from Commander Rondolos” she said while she gave me another folder of orders.
Taking the folder while I sat up front lying down on Angel’s lap, I see revise orders from the Commander that read like this:

Her father disappeared while Mrs. Toyotomi was undergoing five months into her pregnancy. [No known record is found of current whereabouts.] She traveled to Cambodia, Jerusalem, Japan, India, France, Italy, England, Russia, Germany, and Slovakia within four years of endless travel with her mother only. Records of her trip indicate that Haleigh was sent to our intelligence counterparts to be train under advance counter intelligence and infiltration overseer by Nene Toyotomi, who works as Director of Counter-Intelligence of CIA in Langley currently.
**Eyes Only: Article 01-0842 of Classified Document 00958 Level 9 Code Orange**
Age 10: Haleigh Toyotomi is submitted to Grenzschutzgruppe-9 (GSG-9 a.k.a. Border Guard Group 9) for Combat Unit 1. Specializing in hostage rescue and urban-assault operations, she executed missions in Operation Black Mamba and Operation White Leopard. Both missions were successful [see attachment 00900 for more details.] Given work and pay, Toyotomi received ninety g’s per year for starting pay. Confirmed kills: 255.

This is bad. Information like this doesn’t happen much and this is the first time I’ve heard that a penetration agent got killed by being undercover. Haleigh’s history seems perfect-too perfect to be her history. But her father… she never told me that before. The fact that she works for Mithril, it makes sense. I think I’ve heard of this group before…
But where have I heard it from?
A thought comes back to me and the flashback came clear as crystal day. Ryouske once told me he was going to join an anti-terrorist group that only hired mercenaries. He said the name was named after a metal… the word Mithril is a metal name? Could this be what Ryouske was talking about?
“It seems Commander Rondolos thinks a lot about you” says Angel.
Looking up from the folder, I see that Angel is next to me with her head on my shoulder. She puts her hand on my leg and I take her hand with my own.
“I suspect that he sees something in me that I don’t. But her call sign is going to be Cassiopeia. It’s strange how a person comes up with a name like that for a girl like her. I guess this will have to do” I said while I closed the folder.
Angel and I both rose up, going towards the bag that I flew towards a wall. Thankfully, there are no broken items in the bag. I took out a metal ashtray and a cigarette on my table while Angel watches me with her stunning tantalizing eyes.
Setting the orders on the ashtray, I flick the cigarette on and put the blue tip on a corner of the manila folder. The folder starts to burn into a red flame, having me set the folder on the ashtray, burning quickly.
“I hope we can meet soon Ryo” said Angel “But I have to get going now.”
“Sure Angel, I’ll be at Japan for awhile” I said.
“I’ll always love you Ryo” she says as she takes a step towards me.
We both embrace each other and gave a kiss on the cheek. Angel turns away from me and walks to the door. That will be the last time… the last time I will ever remember her saying that to me. Her voice will echo in my head as her words marks itself in my heart.
Lieutenant Angel Myers disappeared after we met. Angel was marked Missing in Action on her intelligence folder after maintaining no regular contact. She was later found dead in her hotel room by internal bleeding from a gun shot wound in her chest. On the day Lieutenant Myers was shot five times- it was the same day her file was marked MIA. I never pursued how she died.
Somehow I already knew… that Haleigh took away the person I loved dear to me.
“Goodbye Angel” I said to her retreating figure. The burnt folder emits a red flame as if it senses my pain within me.

0100 Hours
“I’m home” I mutter as I take the key out of the keyhole.
Its already morning and I walk my way into the bedroom. Home sweet home! Everything seems to be in order because I was afraid while I was coming back here that the cleaners might something odd like unauthorized reading articles…
The smell of white plum came into my sense of smell.
So she came to my room now that she’s lonely? How nice. Looks like I won’t be alone today.
I walk to the room slowly, and see she is already sleeping with her night dress. The covers were not on her so I reach over to pull it on her.
“Ryo…” she silently says.
A tear goes down her face and I stop to look at her face. I brush the tear away with my thumb. My eyes are awash with weariness by Haleigh’s sadness.
“Take care of her, always smile and always be there for her, just like you did with me when we were together” Angel’s words say to the room.
The girl I am looking at is not the enemy.
She is my love who understands and always smiles no matter what I do. Haleigh’s a girl who can empathize when she doesn’t know what a person is going through. She can cry with you, walk with you, talk with you, and yet shows love no matter who you are.
She’s that kind of person and to me, that’s all that matter in the world. And with her, I can do what I’m best at: To love and protect.
My blanket is a mink blanket so it should keep her warm while I tuck the blanket with her.
Taking a chair and sitting down next to her, I gave her a kiss on the cheek. My head lies on the bed and I listen to her slow breathing.
The name Cassiopeia does not suit Haleigh in a time like this. But rather that other name…
“Good night… Gemini”

"Night Fox, what have you done that makes it so special from the others?" said a wounded Sergeant Sagara.
The unidentified individual grinned with a sweet smile.
"I guess you'll just have to wait and see, won't you, Mr. Sagara? Isn't that right, Helena?"
