Mithril vs Zombie Outbreak!

This isn't exactly a fanfic, but more of a discussion. I recently read World War Z, any awesome book about the outbreak of zombies in the modern day earth, and hence was inspired to start a post as such.
Read my post
here, if you are interested, and maybe you could post a comment to discuss on the topic.

I think you should use FMP universe rules.
Zombie = Slow doesn't die easy but will die if the damage is extensive enough.
Amalgam just have to release a bunch of Plan1211 Alastor AS and set them to target zombies.
Even Bonta suits have more power than zombies... and for an AS it's a squish fest.

Squashing doesn't necessary mean killing the zombie. That is, unless you squash the brain of the zombie totally. And zombie infections spread fast, so going against a horde of saying, 200 million zombies across the entire globe isn't that easy a thing to handle.
Amalgam and Mithril's power might be cut due to the chaos and damage by the zombies that might have spread to their HQs

9.5t of AS should give enough pressure.
A zombie is stupid and doesn't know how to operate a doorknob.
I never liked zombies ... they are like Gundams where the hell do they get the energy to keep functioning.

They run on gas.
Specifially, TacoBell brand.

well, unless Mithril's personnel become zombies, i'd say it's a sure win for mithril
even if the rest of the world is zombified, the humans can escape on the TDD, cuz i think Zombies are afraid of water.
But if Tessa gets zombified, she'll control all the other zombies with her super-brain and then it's game over

Zombie Infections do not take place immediately, they take place within 24 hours. Hence, an infected Mithril personnel might be infected at the start of the whole scenario, and bring it upon the TDD-1 or even Mithril's HQ.
Usually, when people see a zombie for the first time, chances are, they'll aim for the body, and find themselves not killing the zombie, but instead being turned into one.
Zombies are not afraid of water, as they do not have emotions and are unable to think. They only rely on instinct. As long as their brain survives, they survive. And they don't require any oxygen at all.
If their prey is on water, they will continue marching in the water, even though it's impossible to walk in water. In the end, the only way they'll move is by the currents, and if they're lucky, they might meet an occasional prey.
Armslaves have an average battery life of about 7-8 hours. I'm rather certain that it is unable to do a full wipe of a city, what more a state or a country, within that time.
And let's not forget the stress that people in charge of Mithril have to face. Knowing Tessa, she would probably break down crying in fear.

Back to the zombies.
The timetable below outlines the process of an infected human (give
or take several hours, depending on the individual).
Hour 1:
Pain and discoloration (brown-puple) of the infected area Immediate
clotting of the wound provided the infection came from a wound).
Hour 5: Fever (99-103 degrees F), chills, slight dementia, vomiting,
acute pain in the joints.
Hour8: Numbing of extremities and infected area, increased fever
(103 -106 degrees F), increased dementia, loss of muscular coordination.
Hour 11: Paralysis in the lower body, overall numbness, slowed heart
rate.
Hour 16: Coma.
Hour 20: Heart stoppage. Zero brain activity
Hour 23: Reanimation.
(source: z-wars/ z-survival guide)
There is no way that they could infiltrate the TDD1
You would have several hours before they start walking again.
Squashing doesn't necessary mean killing the zombie
Zombies aren't stronger than normal humans. They don't feel pain but are just as fragile.
Decomposition is slowed but not stopped entirely.
The body rots eventually till a point that a zombie can't move anymore.
( depends greatly on the weather (3 - 5 years)
Enhanced radiation warheads (neutron bombs) will fry Zombies too.
AS don't run on batteries. They have reactors or diesel generators.
Maybe Alastors run on batteries but it's a matter of logistics to keep them charged.
Actually Tessa has nerves of steel in stressful situations. eg playing chicken with a sub.

I'm not sure if I'm correct, but I read somewhere that ASes such as the M9 can run straight for 7-8 hours before they run out of power. The M6 has an even lower power lifespan.
And about the zombie infiltrating part, they could infiltrate places such as Mithril HQ and the docking yards where the TDD-1 undergoes restocking and repairs. The crew needs food
And think of AS stomping zombies like humans stomping giant ants. Not exactly the easiest thing to do, especially if there's a never ending horde of them.

An M9, thanks to its compact Palladium reactor, can run strait for 150 hours, 100 hours for the Arbalest and only 30 hours for the Laevatein (probably because of its overclocked Lambda Driver).

and its focus on strength for hand to hand combat.
The TDD-1's deployment could be for incredible amounts of time. Most attack subs have the capability to circumnavigate the globe without ever surfacing. They can fish for food and purify water.
i would imagine that they keep constant communication with the dock as well so they would know if something went bad. weather it be by no com check or a communication of umm we are under attack. As well as their main dock is a island and greatly isolated so would be a very unlikely place for a zombie attack to occure.

zombies zombies everywhere, not a thing to eat. All these zombie facts make me think we have umbrella operatives in our midst.
If so I would like to submit a resume. You will find I am overly qualified for ending the world.

If I'm not wrong, the ARX-8 has the main structure and features of the M6, including the battery life. It's far superior than the M6 or M9 though, as it has been customized to suit Sousuke's needs.
