What is up with those rockets?
It looks like there is a rope or something behind the rocket whenever it is fired, it doesnt look like smoke at all...

Also was Tessa bleeding from the nose when she got hit by Gauln during the submarine hijacking or what? She looked pretty freaky back there and it scared me a bit.

heh

lol

I had thought her nose bled because she really hit her head *hard*-
if I remember right (I dont have my eps with me), the back of her head slammed against the wall and it just gushed (her nose).

She's not very tough, physically....
The audience applauded, even though it was not clear what Bush meant.

True, but later..... She "whispered" with Chidori and the entire lower part of her face was covered in blood. That was kinda eerie.

-

"Can I help you?, "you know this section is.." she broke off her sentence as the man walked towards her and nodded, "I think you can Captain".
Tessa looked down, "I haven't been called Captain in 4 years," Wha..what do you want?"
He gave her a devious grin, "I'm here to make sure you keep your promise."

I'm pretty sure G didn't hit her.
He was pulling her up by her braid at the time, he was pulling all of her bodyweight up by it- and the sub lurched upward, she started to slide backwards and he let go of her.

If he hit her, they didn't animate it and I missed the sound of it.

Maybe it was a combo of physical stresses.
But no matter why it happened, I think it was pretty gutsy of them to make her look like that- you almost never see an anime character acutally show the likely effects of physical trauma.
(well, unless it's a hero character who's *supposed* to look all tough, but in a brave, still looks good sort of way)

As for the missles- well, I think you see the same effect on the real ones (as seen in the movies). It does look like a cable attatched, but I'm hoping one of our resident weapons expert could explain why that happens :)

TOW 2B Missile: 49.8 pounds (22.60 kilograms)

Mission: To engage and destroy enemy armored vehicles, primarily tanks. Secondary mission is to destroy other point targets such as non-armored vehicles, crew-served weapons and launchers.

Features: The basic TOW Weapon System was fielded in 1970. This system is designed to attack and defeat tanks and other armored vehicles. It is primarily used in antitank warfare, and is a command to line of sight, wire-guided weapon. The system will operate in all weather conditions and on the "dirty" battlefield. The TOW 2 launcher is the most recent launcher upgrade. It is compatible with all TOW missiles. The TOW 2 Weapon System is composed of a reusable launcher, a missile guidance set, and sight system. The system can be tripod mounted. However because it is heavy, it is generally employed from the HMMWV and LAV-AT. The missile has a 20-year maintenance-free storage life. All versions of the TOW missile can be fired from the current launcher.

Inventory: TOW launchers - 1247

Background: The original TOW missile had a diameter of 5 inches and a range of 3000 meters. Considerable improvements have been made to the missile since 1970. The Improved TOW (ITOW) was delivered in 1982. This missile has a 5-inch diameter warhead, and includes an extended probe for greater standoff and penetration. An enhanced flight motor was included in the ITOW, increasing the missile's range to 3750 meters. The TOW 2 series of improvements includes TOW 2 Hardware, TOW 2 Missile, TOW 2A Missile, and TOW 2B Missile. The TOW 2 Hardware improvements included a thermal beacon guidance system enabling the gunner to more easily track a target at night and numerous improvements to the Missile Guidance System (MGS). The TOW 2 Missile has a 6-inch diameter warhead and the extended probe first introduced with ITOW. The TOW 2B Missile incorporates new fly-over, shoot-down technology.

Are you sure?

From what I remember, a TOW missile's guide wire isn't that visible anyway.
You sure he's not talking about the smoke trail?
