I finally watched the sub, and it didn't disappoint. In the first segment, by the time Sousuke took out most of the class and Kaname decided to take the offensive was hilarious. I really think she's spent too much time with Sousuke. And how they combined man with nature... I think Sousuke's partners would be laughing so hard. It was also funny when Sousuke's teacher told him to behave, and he totally misinterpreted it. And the strange rapport the art teacher had with the Mithril mercenary... When I saw how fast the art teacher would start speaking, all I could think was "MicroMachines guy," if you can remember back so far.
The second segment was the better one though. I enjoyed the friendship that's developed between Kyouko and Sousuke with Kaname's happiness as their common ground. What was also funny was Sousuke's interpretation of Kaname's happiness with a date with an old crush. "She must either be on drugs or being blackmailed." And Sousuke and Kyouko's getup at the amusement park... priceless. My heart almost stopped beating when Kaname's crush asked to date her, and she was thinking. I was
so worried she'd say yes. When she said no, and described Sousuke's concern for her, I was so pleased. She's recognizing his good heart and loyalty to her, finally. Her conversation with "Boka-kun" was extremely touching, and she didn't tell Sousuke she knew it was him, letting him hold onto his pride. I just want to know if he went to all that trouble for her because it was his job, or because he wanted to. Of course we all know which way I'd like it to be.
Since the old crush is out of Kaname's picture, let's introduce him into Tessa's, so she'll quit pining after Sousuke. As much as Tessa rubs me the wrong way, she at least deserves "a good man," as Kyouko describes senpai.
Interesting... change one letter in 'boka' and you have 'baka,' or idiot.
