According to the poster we got with the DVD's (vol1)

Kurz has a girlfriend who is in bed with some form of illness and he seems to take care of her.
Does anyone have some more info ..

He was born in Edogawa (eastern edge of Tokyo.) and lived there until 14.

i demand some disclosure from ADV !!!!

I think I read it either in Newtype! or on the inserts for the DVD. I saw that too, but its never mentioned. I demand answers.

I remeber reading that somewhere too. It was either from the website we all know and love or the offical ADV Full metal panic website.

Kurz's girlfriend has some disease so he had to take his current job with mithrill so he could pay for the best medical care possible. But I don't ever remeber this getting mentioned in the anime. Maybe its in the novels.

Anyway I distinctly remember Kurz being kinda disgusted at the thought of Mao-san walking around the base naked if she loss her fight with Tessa in that one episode. Maybe because he respects her so much? Nah.. at the end he did bring up the terms of the bet again. And when they first met each other, didn't he hit on Mao?

Kurz is 19. Not way too much older than Chidori, though maybe a bit...

Anyway, I noticed the bit about Kurz's girlfriend in the Vol 1 poster, too, and have sort of been wondering about it since...

Kurtz is the stereotype pervert. The type who will be checking out young ladies even after he's happily married.
He checks out Kaname, but I'm not sure he'd really want to be that involved with her.

BTW, I have been trying to remember where I saw this so I can verify it, but I somehow had the idea that Kurtz had a sick sister, not a sick girlfriend. But not having access to any of my FMP stuff really, I can't confirm or check it out.
