We where floating the idea in IRC for a FMP Cosplay team for comic con next year. I am going to be going as Maraduke myself. would there be anyone else interested in it for Comic Con next year?

I'm willing to do my Sousuke, Shaken Not Stirred routine again...

I'm curious if there's any female board members we could su.... err, I mean
convince to dress in Jindai H uniforms as Kaname, Tessa, Mizuki, Ren, and
Kyouko to join us. Mao's also on that list in whatever tickles your fancy

Well assomeing things go well (I will try and warn you if they don't) i will try like hell to be there as our most loveable

(mind you by that time if all goes well my keaster will be uncle sam's so id have to talk it out with him)

i just hope priceline can help me get my Venom on the plane

of the submitted pictures I've seen, she's very attractive and would probably look pretty good in the Jindai uniforms. I know I'd be rather intimidated to wear one.... I mean, I wore stuff like that like 8 years ago....

But given she's in NJ probably won't make it..... ah well......

We won't even get into how in the heck you'd get a costume like that, you'd pretty much just have to make it yourself because buying would be rather expensive. And the talent to make a uniform like that look good is not exactly rare, but impressive, and usually not dedicated to things like cosplay.

Which Comicon are you referring to? Baltimore or San Fran? I went to the Baltimore one this year, it was cool. It was waaaay cooler for my husband though, he's the one that knows all about american comics, and there wasn't much of any manga to be had. I was rather zzzzzz........ at the end.......

But yeah, San Diego is a bit too far for me. I'm very much East Coast.

Damn shame, too; I'd already started looking around to see how much a Kaname costume would cost to put together for when I inevitably decide to cosplay. My mom's a professional seamstress, so that would take care of one issue. She's already said she'd make the costume for me.

But, like I said, I'm a broke college student who really can't afford to fly out to California.

Hmm...actually, I'm starting to look into it. I've never flown across the country before, though, so this would be a very new experience for me.

I can go roundtrip from Philadelphia (my home city) out to San Diego for $188...

I'll consider it. Now I just have to do well enough this semester to get on my mother's good side so that she'll make me a Jindai uniform.
