That episode was awesome!

Mao & Yu Lan fighting was spectacular, and brutal. I wanna see Yu Lan's twin blade fighting some more, because that was just plain kickass.

Also, Tessa's the MVP of this ep for guiding all the ASes & Savages towards Gates. You gotta love her tactical skills.

And oh yeah, next episode, [ecs]ODBD starts in Sicily.[/ecs]

....Tessa kicked some major ass in this ep...I love how, this time, they're adding a ton of character to her.

During the other seasons, her role seemed smaller, but this time, she's definately a huge asset.

Gates is lovely as allways, and the twins hand to hand fighting skills has some superb design.

I really loved the visual quality this time too!, I don't know if I just got bad quality last time or something, but this time it was amazing!, particularly some of the backgrounds are exceptional, those down in the maze, and in blunos room as well...exceptional...

I honestly thought the last one was a little worse, but this one certainly makes up for it. They've even spent time doing detailed shadows on mardukas right ear during a close up...

But yeah, lovely ep.

oh WOW! That was spectacular! :-o This ep. had me sitting on the edge of my seat the entire time I was watching it! This definitely has to be my favorite one to date for so many, many reasons. The constant interchanging of the fight scenes really had me, it was just one thing after the other. It was nice to see Mao :melissa: and Kurtz :kurtz: in action for once, as much as I love Sousuke :sousuke:. I loved seeing Tessa take charge in her role as Captain. Just watching her taking out that map and devising a plan made me respect her for being a calm and cool tactician. Best part was when they were able to lay the ambush at the end; it was just one of those "gotcha!" moments - but I guess they weren't able to enjoy that for very long . I only just watched the RAW, but you could really feel Sousuke's uneasiness/hate (I guess you would call it?) for the ARX-7 when he stopped to look at his reflection in the building. I dunno, it was an incredibly lonely moment to me. Next episode looks like it's gonna be interesting. Can't wait too see Sousuke zoom (or at least try to!) in that little Fiat!

Yep, Tessa really shines when she's on the submarine. I didn't think she'd deduce that Bluno's a traitor (or did someone else figure that out?) that quickly. But not surprised to see her quickly figure out that their communications have been comprimised and setup a new plan.

Next ep is the Canicatti ep? I was expecting another split episode after this one. Sousuke dismantles teacher's car while Mithril tracks down Bluno, and then the ep after that, they go capture him.

Gate's AS overheating reminds me of the game Mechwarrior. He needs more heat sinks =D. Sousuke's lambda driver fails him. Mao's knife fight is pretty cool (I'm disappointed though that no clothes were torn off :p). Those machetes she uses are the exact same machetes you can get at the army surplus stores. Shape of the blade and handle and all, the same. The funniest scene is when Kruz in his one-armed M9 jumps into the hallway and does a dance as 3 enemy AS shoots at him. Haha, I should figure out how to make those animated gifs just for that. Or someone wanna make it for me, please?

Actually, Tessa is far ahead of all her officers, as far as I can see - her hunch that the radio is compromised comes to as Sousuke's invisibility was suddenly wallhacked by the enemy and they turned around, just after he reported his position...she then tests and thinks ahead and concludes that Bluno, or someone, is listening on a certain channel, and then uses that to spread misinformation, sends someone to go get bluno, and uses another channel to send off the 'real' orders...

It's effectively like using your opponents weapon against him...

There is one thing I can't help thinking about...I mean, I can see how the assasin could hide flat knives on her back...particularly if there weren't entirely stiff...and a gun could be hid on her body since it's small and flat...

But where on earth did she hide that cylindrical flashbang? in her hair?

This has to be the most action packed TSR ep (so far). I loved the fact that this ep had so many strong facial expressions. You could really tell how the characters were feeling. Like how Tessa was so determind to save everyone and how Sousuke showed hate toward Arbalest. My favorite part would have to be the ending when Gates was surrounded. His funny faces made me crack up! And finally next week- the ep I've been waiting for! :-D

Oh and one other thing by the end of the ep does Sousuke realize that Gates was in the Venom instead of Guaron? Cause based on the flashbacks he was having it looks like he thinks Guaron was in it. :?
I don't have any regrets. I'm glad I met you Sousuke Sagara.

When he saw Venom, Sousuke said something along the lines of, "It's him. No, it can't be him. He's dead." Also Gates starts talking over the megaphone so Sousuke should recognize that it isn't Gauron.

Loved this episode. One thing minor as it is caught my attention. Kurz running and picking up the enemy weapon. That kinda annoyed me in 1'st episode Sousuke is running around killing enemy AS's but did not pick up the weapons they droped even as he was out of ammo :?: . Can't wait for the subs for it .

Malletspace

I referer you to the rules of anime, in particular to rule
#37- Law of Extradimensional Capacitance- All anime females have an
extradimensional storage space of variable volume somewhere on their person from which they can instantly retrieve any object at a moment’s notice. This mysterious dimension is commonly called "Malletspace".

good to see where this series is heading.. should proove interesting for myself since i aint read any of the novels..

im lovin the small details they are adding.. subtle yet nice to see.. good to see they kept the char's unchanged between the first series and TSR.. kept em to their true selves..
