Full Metal Panic appearing in a Super Robot Wars game :o

So far, it looks like only Sosuke, Tessa and Bonta-kun (yes, that's right) are useable characters. Sousuke of course has the ARX-7, and Tessa has the Dannan... Bonta-kun has, well... Bonta-kun. Doesn't look the M9 is in it, though. Damn

I found a small Bonta-kun in action movie rip, I'll put it online.

If you scroll down near the bottom, it shows the Arbalest, I'm guessing Kurz's M9, and Mao's M9. If you click the buttons NEXT, it'll show some shots of the M9's doing some action. I watched the 3 movies the site had, and they seem to be rather fond of Bonta-Kun. In the movies that are 15 seconds long, is that the Japanese voice of Bonta-Kun? I became a serious fan of Full Metal Panic! too late for FUMOFFU.

Yep, that is. Cool, they added the actual voice from the Japanese version...

I see. I always thought that the voice for Bonta-Kun might be bad in Japanese, but it's excellent. Is it official that Bonta-Kun, Arbalest, and the Tuatha de Danaan are the only playable Full Metal Panic! characters/machines? In the 9 minute trailer thing that showed all the characters in action, I was hoping that for Full Metal Panic!, it would show or enable the Arbalest to do some Lambda Driver action, lol. Then it would be the strongest character in the game...

A friend of mine who is playing the game has told me that the FMP units (unit, actually... he was referring to Arbalest) can block some really strong attacks. I asked him if they did it with a blueish forcefield; he said yeah (this friend hasn't seen FMP). So... the lambda drivers are in the game.

Now, the next step is to use the Lambda Driver not to block, but to use it to attack...Then it will be set to be the strongest mecha, at least in the game.

In theory, the Lambda Driver will protect you if you want to be protected, be it numerous super gigantic laser guns.
