kaname... and.. kurz?

in episode 6 (forgive me if i got his name wrong, i haven't watched the series in over a month and quickly forget) he says he needs strength, and eyes up kaname... but when they come back to him and kaname, he's faceplanted into the ground and kaname is holding her shirt together... did they.. eh... you know? or did she just kick the shit out of him?

Kaname was trying to make him feel better, and he responded by eyeing her in a rather obvously lewd manner.
She wasn't much appreciative. (remember, she had ripped open the collar of the shirts she was wearing? That's also why she was holding them closed later on)

Anyhow, Weber and Mao do seem like an obvious couple, but I have a really hard time imagining them getting together.
They seem to suffer from the 'buddy syndrome'- at best it seems like they might end up hanging out together, growing old while picking and beating on each other. Under what circumstances would Mao let that happen anyway?
How drunk? Or...could she even get that drunk?

And, wouldn't you say Weber's already used his best moves on her? What could he do now, that wouldn't end up with him hurting?
Mao seems to have too tough an attitude to come out and allow herself to be associated that way with someone that she's put down so much...she seems like she'd be embrassed by it, and then only the meaner because she wouldn't want to show she was embrassed. Heh.

Pair of 'em remind me of this chicklit book I read when I was bored once. 'Don't You Want Me' by India Knight. The main woman's pretty lewd, even for a chicklit heroine, and starts off the book by pointing out she would never EVER dream of kugging her housemate Frank. It's chicklit, so of course she does, but she makes a good go of *not* kugging him for most of the book.

For me, it's hard to imagine Kurz and Mao a couple. They seem much more like buddies and comrades than lovers. Kurz and Kaname would make a cute couple, but Sagara and Kaname is even better. ^_^

I've got a feeling that Mao likes Kurz, and not just like a friend or a comrade.
