Oh, that? Gauron and Mardukas just decided to join sides and clone themselves--or maybe it's the former's "technologically reincarnated" self. Actually, I've forgotten who he may possibly be. I also forgot if Gauron actually finally died in the novels, too, which are what I'm basing this guess on.

I think he's a new character, I dunno who he is though. Maybe he's that foreigner from HK? I read somewhere that they also have female twin assassins as 2 more new characters, they also posted pictures, I forget where for the moment...

The girls are a pair of chinese twin assassins, named Xia Yu Lan and Xia Yu Fang, while the guy is a mad guy named Geitsu (?).

Maybe he´s Vincentio Bluno (the guy who was 'retrieved' by Kurz, Melissa and Sousuke in the beginning of ' The End of Day by Day') though he looks different in the picture in the novel. But they changed the twins so why not.

Hm, I'd always thought Wraith would be somehow more photogenic than that.

From Owaru Day By Day: "The face of a young man with slit eyes appeared. No... was it a woman? She couldn't tell. He had the slender features of both, and didn't look to be older than 20. His appearance was haggard, and his complexion was terribly pale."

That guy definitely doesn't have what I'd called "slender features".

The twins are replacements for the assassin bros, I think. (Prolly more fanservice for the guys? Hmmm...) I wonder how the rooftop chase scene will work out? The twins seem poised to have a more significant role though, so I don't think they'll get killed off quickly like the brothers did in the novels. Maybe they'll just cut out Gauron completely and have them be Leonard's subordinates? Or what if they're his new humanoid ASs? O_o

Not sure who the crazy guy is, "Gates"? Maybe it's Hunter? He looks too old and too...sleazy(?) to be Wraith, who seems like this angsty, moody teenager. Heck, he could even be Mr. Chidori.

I'm trying to make out the characters in the scans (hah, me and my horrible Japanese), and all I can make out is something about a prototype for "Mr. K".

Alrighty, that's enough crazy speculation from me. ARGH!!!! the suspense is killing me.

Also, does anyone know why the 2 brothers were working for Gauron in the first place? Something about being "found" and "revenge", but I haven't pieced it together yet.

I don't think so; I thought Vincent Bruno was the pansy dude whose fingers were broken in the interrogation that went on in one of the earlier chapters. He can't have changed that much...
