Arekara?
Is this a song on the Fumoffu OST or is it a Shimokawa song that was tacked onto the Fumoffu OP and ED single? And does anyone have a translation? I'm glad they used bits of it on AF's version during the credits. It's a very pretty song.

Found the transcribed lyrics. Anyone want to translate it? With my **** ass Japanese, it'll probably take forever.
Arekara
======
Watashi nara daijoubu
Isogashiku shiteru kara
Ganbatte iru yo
Sou, yakusoku shita kara
Demo kyuu ni nakitaku naru keredo
Kimi to wakarete kara
Subete ga kawatta mitai de
Toori sugiru kaze no nioi mo
Chikatetsu no zawattou mo
Machigai ja, nakatta you ne?
Kasane atteita setsuna samo subete
Ima wa mada omoideto yobenai
Kuchibiru ni nukumori ga kienai uchi wa
Kimi ga itsumo murisuru kara
Taisetsu na mono wo miushinaunda yo
Kondo mata dareka aisuru toki
Mou ichido ano koro wo omoidashite ne
Itsuka kimi to
Deaeru hi wa
Taiyou no youni hohon deitai

So you managed to dig up My and Pookakitten's version.
I had asked a professional translator to do all 3 songs as a favor, but she's been extreamly busy and had not even started yet.

To answer whether this song was actually in Fumoffu; it is not. When Shimokawa-san released her OP/ED single for Fumoffu, she put 3 songs on it: "Sore ga Ai Deshou", "Arekara", and "Kimi ni Fuku Kaze." Plus their off-vocal versions. So yea, basically it's just an extra song tacked on by Shimokawa-san. I'm glad too that AF added the little music video of it at the end of the final episode. It gave it a nice closing touch.

Here's a translation, as well as romaji & kanji version of the lyrics:
http://www.animelyrics.com/anime/fullme ... rekara.htm
"-kara" is from/since/after, or starting at that time.
So "Arekara" would be something like "from that time on", or "from then on"

"Are" is that (over there).Circle wrote:What does the word Arekara mean?
