I am fairly new to FMP! (well, really to the anime world in general) and have some questions about something I found in the English version of the Volume 1 Manga. For those of you who have not read it, the following may contain spoilers. Engage ECS!
[ecs] On page 62, at the end of MISSION: 02. the panel to the lowest left of the page shows Sousuke poking his head around a wall and Mizuki coughing in the foreground. Then there is a ballon to the left of her with a question mark in it. [/ecs]
Can someone explain? I am not sure what exactly this means and it is bugging me big time.
Also, if it is not too much trouble, I have a manga question in general. I have seen drawings of characters (not FMP!) where it looks like a little ghost is coming out of his or her mouth. What the heck is this? It seems that the character has usually had the cr@p scared out of him. The little ghostie is bugging me almost as much as the above. I crave answers!

It's a Japanese superstition that you sneeze when someone is talking about you. Evidently, Mizuki went back and made the changes to what she wrote on the wall. Or at least Kaname's comment was directed at her.

I think the ghost coming out of the mouth implies they died, or as you said, scared to death, but not physically dead. The ghost probably represents the person's soul.

You can find the sneezing a lot in the Rurouni Kenshin mangas. It says that you sneeze when someone talks ill of you, like when Sano, Kenshin, Yahiko, and Kaoru were talking ill of Saito, Saito seems to have sneezed 4 times, each for each person who talked ill of him. I'm not sure if that example is exclusive to Rurouni Kenshin though, of sneezes in tandem compared to the number of people.
It seems when Sousuke was spying on Mizuki when she sneezed, he still believes her to be a criminal...
