hey just noted the august 9th post.. does that mean Gundam Seed is licensed or am I just mistaken?

I might be mistaken, but I had thought Bandai had everything Gundam, including SEED, for quite a while.
That it's lisenced isn't news, the US release info is.

- mobile suit battle inside a colony... where have I seen THAT before

My ISP is having troubles with their cable service in my area, and I'm stuck on their dial-up service for awhile.

Bah... looks like I'll be waiting a few days before this thing finishes with the d/l...

I watched the AJ sub as well. Lets just say accuracy is not a highpoint of that group, I'm not completly fluent with Japanese but even I caught numerous errors in their translations.

I'd go with one of the other groups even if it means waiting an extra day or two... but then again, I watch 'em raw anyway.

Scott McNeil (Duo from Gundam Wing)had announced at the Anime Evolution con end of July in Vancouver that they were already laying the voice tracks down for Seed. So I have seen this coming on them having Seed all set up and ready for release.

NOOOOOOOOOOO GOD NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! I see that Pioneer has picked up Last Exile, I'm only hoping for some decent voices for this anime. At least I know that this series is soon ending anyways so I don't have to worry about it being so rarely available for download.

Well, looks like it's official... all major groups doing GSeed have
yanked their torrents: AJ made a note on their page stating as
much to that effect. A-Kraze "Old Torrents" page still lists what
they've done, but I suspect they'll go pretty soon. No word from
the other groups.

Been a wild ride since ep 1, and I'm gonna miss it. So now begins
the year-long (at least) wait for the GSeed licenced release to hit
the shelves. And we have GSeed2 to look forward to... assuming
*coughs*company not to be named*coughs* doesn't get it 3/4 of
the way thru the ep run.

Thx to all that've shared their thoughts on GSeed as it progressed.
