Lunar #11 Well, they got themselves to a better start this time: I wonder
if this is Gonzo -- or someone involved in B T's production -- 's comment
on the social condition and current events in Japan: armed kids prowling
the street, shortage of cabs, that kinda stuff... Just when you thought life
couldn't get any more dreary unmanned train decides to go
try and answer the age-old question: what happens when an irresistable
force meets an immovable object.

Hyper Terrorist on the loose, and s/he's looking to destroy Osaka. Look
Forward to it!! Hmmm...

Pretty much a Jo episode, and her 'Bounty Hunting' adventures through
the underworld of Tokyo. While having a bowl of udon, Jo gets pulled
aside for questioning by the cops. "Try not to swing those huge guns
around too much... if you don't mind" Uh...HUH! YEAH RIGHT!!

Kyouhei-cameo-of-the-week as he wanders the backalleys in search
of a restaurant and him almost getting nailed by the cops as well...
Seems Gonzo thinks he and Jo are making a pretty good pair on screen

While at a prize fight ring, Jo makes her usual impressive impression
on the boss when she says there's a rat in the ceiling... but an even
BIGGER rat's hiding. NOW WHO'S BEEN PLAYING WITH THE GENETIC
MIXER VATS HERE?!?!

Jo to the rescue... again, till she meets up with a
sword-swinging, schoolgirl-uniform-wearing girl by the name of Takane.
Can we say Catfight of the Century the way these two make sparks off
each other at the first meeting?

HOPE this arc isn't going to be like the private school one... they just MIGHT
have hit upon a good storyline here.

..oh yeah, amend my wishlist for B T to either have a snog session
between Jo & Meg... or a REALLY big knock-down-duke-it-out between
Takane & Jo

House offers 5-to-1 on Jo, and 8-to-1 on Takane...

...I don't know who writes for the stuff Gonzo animates, but when I
originally heard they were in on it, I knew 1) in for one HELL of a ride
animation-wise, 2) story'd have a 1-in-3 chance of being a hit, which is
what Gonzo-animated series' score is with me right now.

...should we keep postponing the inevitable, or does someone still want
to keep talking about this series?

I will, I'll trudge on. I can't say the same for Tenjou Tenge though. Slow releases coupled with episodes that make you question if the wait was worth it is a killer...

Looks like they're turning this Osaka angle into a 3 parter... or maybe a 4...

We get some betrayal, some "final words" from some idiot who wants to be a hero.

We see Tachibana Kyouhei unwittingly find some large organic thing...

We see a verbal fight from Jo and schoolgirl cosplayer Takane. Some action...

MEG IS ONCE AGAIN A DAMSEL IN DISTRESS (how many damn times is that going to happen??)

Seems like RAPT is playing a part in the story again, and so is that green glowing brain that we first witnessed in that Brother turns into a monster then commits suicide on a train angle, and the Private School arc, and the huge ass crow arc as well. The Green Brain strikes for the fourth time...

Now what I want to know is

WTF IS GOING ON???

Well, that arc is finally over. I was getting tired of all the Osaka slang and "Naniwa Justice nevr dies!" crap...

Looks like the next ep, "Wild Kids" will feature Jo's past... or maybe that's just a Jo lookalike with longer hair...
