I forgot .. i finished it ... nothing much more to say that it was good while it lasted ..

but hell, thank god they didn't turn the last ep in a standard monster of the week episode.

I have mixed feelings about the end. Granted it gave it closure on the anime but I didn't want it to end like that!!! I don't know if they did that cause they didn't want to animate GGOD or what but I wanted the ending like they gave us in the game.

Speaking of GGOD, news has it that the US release is stated for Sept. this yr!!! I can't wait!! Check out this link cause it has downloads of clips from the new game. Sooooo badass, even more so than the 1st Gungrave

I was a bit worried as to how the dub was going to sound but I must say, even though the 1st dvd only has 4eps on it, the voices are pretty decent. Though myself and a few others aren't too crazy about Kenny's voice. What little of what Brandon actually speaks, it seems to suit him. The old Harry in the 1st eps, until I hear more of old Harry speak later, I think he sounds like a tad of Vincent Price. Just something about the slight accent he uses. I was REALLY surprised at the cast of who they used which I have posted here

I think having Jet from Bebop doing Bear's character fits the role great and Big Daddy's voice seems to suit the character well too.

The dvd series will be 7 discs long which I'm a bit irked at since its 26 eps long, they could at least have it be 6 dvds like Witch Hunter Robin. But I guess when money talks, you'd do anything to squeeze it out of the fans.

I was also shocked to have seen Gungrave for sale at Walmart since they now carry more anime. The price was $19 and some change. I hope that they plan on carrying the rest of the series cause I'd buy it from them, much cheaper too. (no boxset though in walmart)

Speaking of the boxset, its really awesome! Nightow's artwork of the Gungrave characters is all around the box. Makes you wish that Nightow would make a manga out of it but I don't see it happening. The art is just like his Trigun designs which I find it to be pretty neat.

Dvd #2 "Sweeper" comes out Sept. 28. I should get around to posting when the release dates are since its in the dvd booklet. The last dvd comes out July of next yr.
