Hit my fave anime / comics shop, Futureshop, HMV... and NO ONE HAS
ROD TV #2 YET?!?!?!?!?!?

// goes psycho on the collective responsible for this travisty

Meantime, I DID find some poseable figureines of Michelle and Anita
which I blew $60CDN on... and I haven't even opened them
Wonder where I'm going to put them now...

Meanwhile, the search for V2 continues!!

Okay, FINALLY found V2 on the weekend!!

// feels pulse and bloodpressure gradually return to normal

Michelle STILL sounds like she's doped on prozac when she's doing her
lines -- funnily enough, her ENG VA comments her char's "constantly cheerful" Yup....
I have to wonder if Anita was the only 'properly-aged' VA they hired...
Hisami gets alot more lines these four eps, but after listening to her ENG
VA... *feels nerves on raw* I do admit the english accents, whether
fake or natural -- for Wendy and Junior are rather good. And Professor
Webber's ENG voice actually seems to fit the char more than the JPN,
tho his timing was alittle off in some parts.

Meantime, here's a shot of the Michelle and Anita figurines I picked up.
The quality of the shots aren't anything to shout about -- my regular
cam's STILL in the shop after a month and a half!! -- and I had to use
an oldie POS to take these.

// eagerly awaits V3, where the REAL power of the paper sisters is put to the test :-D

He's referring to the licensed DVD release of the series. Vol 3 is the third disk in the release, vol 4 is the fourth and so on.

I watched most of ROD the TV a while ago, and I've got to say about vol 3, that if I hadn't seen the next episode then the two month wait between eps 12 and 13 would be a real killer. SO so glad I saw it earlier. :-D

Thinking of grabbing my discs just to catch nr 13 again. Priceless moment
was having the ENG VA do the 'Lying Department' crack, but there wasn't
enough time to dub in the whole original line the JPN VA did.

About the only dialogue I couldn't stand was Anita's use of 'Rock on!'
so much *shivers*

// waiting for V(olume) 4 in anticipation!!

Vol4... maybe add Wendy to that list, they've got a manga shot of her
in something black and lacy  Euh, I STILL can forgive her for
what she did to those books tho.

// gets another listen of ROD ED#2 Confidence

Oh yeah, EXTREME BOPs will want to avoid the pencilboard... Hisa-chan....
:perv: :perv: :perv: :perv: :perv: :perv: :perv: :perv: :perv: :perv: :perv:

// won't reveal more than that

Feb for V5, Apr for V6 and Jun for V7. What's the Oz release schedule
for you Comrade Klerk?

ok ok - I am so behind the times. But a friend of mine bought me Vol 1 on DVD for Christmas. This rocks! Even hubby is hooked (usually he makes fun of me and my anime obsession - esp with Fruits Basket). Must watch all of this!

"Can I help you?, "you know this section is.." she broke off her sentence as the man walked towards her and nodded, "I think you can Captain".
Tessa looked down, "I haven't been called Captain in 4 years," Wha..what do you want?"
He gave her a devious grin, "I'm here to make sure you keep your promise."
