i don't think so... it took me ten years to have a full grip on the language(able to write stories and communicate fluently) will take me as long to master japanese too..

ok sorry went a little overbroad there... just a lvl two jap learner....studied jap for at least 3 years now...

There's actually the School Rumble manga that's being torrented out on teh intarweb. I've read it; it's good stuff. SPOILER WARNING! I don't think that Eri ends up falling for Harima, though, and Yakumo certainly doesn't seem to either. However, there is Yakumo yukata goodness happening, so it might seem. ^_^

The torrent can be found on suprnova.org; just use the Search for "Rumble" and it should come on up.

Can't wait for 9 to come out on fansub... some of us can't read Chinese OR understand Japanese...

Ep11 is great. The irony is killing me.

It's funny how no matter how ridiculous something in the previous episodes happen, it really happens and they remember it well. Ep12 will have more swimsuits. Weeeeeeee.

Oh yea, the fansub group Nanashi started doing School Rumble. Hope they catch up fast and stay up with the series faster than WF (or WF can go faster).

I haven't been watching the Chinese fansubs so I'm only up to speed with WF's fansubs, ep12.

But yea, I can tell Eri's going to fall for Harima even more. And I've also been reading up on other forums about School Rumble. I like the idea of Harima ending up with Eri in the end. Sure it'd be nice if all that hard work and perseverance from Harima gets him his goal (Tenma) in the end. But Tenma's also working hard to hook up with Karasuma.

I think it'd be awesome if the anime does something closer to the real world; despite how much he tried, Harima couldn't get Tenma in the end. But to keep it happy, he developes new feelings for another girl that he overlooked before. Like Eri.

I finished watching Midori no Hibi recently and thought that girl Ayase is very much like Harima. Fire in her eyes, fist in the air, determined not to lose in love. In the end, it's too bad, but it's still ok.

Yea! Another group is releasing School Rumble in English subs. [FOB]'s ep13. It said something like the subtitles are adapted from the manga scanslations. It's all good as long as they're fast. I can read it faster than Chinese subs.

As for ep13.
Akira sees all, who will she help? Yakumo can't read Hanai's thoughts anymore. Suou is Hanai's childhood hero. The Yakumo in a yukata scene.

Still have no clue why Eri is becoming attracted to Harima, but at least next episode will have some fireworks.

My understanding about Eri's feelings toward Harima started in that Nikujaga or Curry episode. He's different from the other guys and told her ina rude way that she shouldn't take other people's feelings so lightly and held out his umbrella for her. As for the other stuff later, the dramatic (mistaken) confession and the naked incident, Eri probably thought they were agressive advances toward her. So my current conclusion is that Eri has a thing for agressive and occassionally nice guys.

Saw ep14 too, Yakumo meets Harima, fascinated by his skills with animals. Well, I don't see a Yakumo-Harima thing yet.

The author of this series is so talented at making up all these coincidental funny situations.
