I loved this series, I think its over now though, but im not sure, there was no preview for the next episode at the end of the last one so I suppose it probably is but im just not sure.

It was confusing at first, I was never sure if I was watching the proper episode, but I figured it out, at the end when Haruhoi say " Next time on Haruhi Suzumiya no yuutsu episode #" and Kyon coreectes her with the proper number, its not, remember this is Haruhi's world, so shes right.

well, kyon is actually right too, because he's telling you the actual episode number, but he also tells you which "part" the episode belongs to in the novel timeline (not all the time i guess)

i wonder if they plan to make the rest of the novel into anime too.... at least do it for the people that catched haruhi saying to kyon "have i seen you somewhere before? long time ago?" in the first chapter (was it in ep 2 or 3 or the anime? forgot)

btw is there english translation of the novels on the internet somewhere? i don't believe it's licensed in the states yet

ninja edit: lol i love how i saw "0AH (After Haruhi)" as "DAH" at first.... *bows down to goddess haruhi* XDDDD

One of my favorite animes. This was like the work of a genius.

So that's why on the official site http://www.haruhi.tv/activitylog.html if you push ctrl+A to select all, you see that it says there are 15,498 episodes. ([ecs]Because of the time when they are resetting over the same day for 15,498 times[/ecs]).

The whole timeline is pretty confusing with the stuff about Kyon being everywhere.

So this is the difference in animes based on novels. It was clear in TSR that the emotions were displayed visually, but in Haruhi Kyon actually did plenty of narration.

Yeah, Koizumi attacks were named "fumoffu" and then "the second raid". There was also that Lambda Driver scene with Yuki and the cricket.

This explains a lot of the trivia, and surprisingly it has a lot of allusions to Fumoffu and TSR, such as Kyon saying ponytails were a turn on-Ponyman!

I was looking at ANN's Top50 ranked anime to see if there's anything there I haven't see yet... and I see this ranked at #6. Then I noticed it's complete and fansubs still avaliable and a batch torrent is out so yipee! :)

So yea, I'm looking forward to watching this once download's done. Haven't read any of the threads about it really to avoid spoilers but I did catch a few words here and there...

Finished watching this series. I like it a lot. :-D
The inconsistency of the timeline was confusing at first but nothing a seasoned anime viewer can't handle. =]

Read the previous novel spoilers, is the story still going or has it ended? Anyone got ending spoilers? Watching over of such a capricious person like Haruhi seems so tiring for the SOS peeps. Wonder if she'll ever accept the boring world...

I just finnished watching this as well. It really is a good anime. Very lovable characters and everything. I'm getting started on reading the novels, I hope it's worth reading.

Looks like rumors of a second season of Haruhi are spreading around. Now all we need is comformation.

As excited as I am about a second season of Haruhi, Kyoto Animation also makes FMP and I hear that if they're planning to make Haruhi their next big project, the next season of FMP will probably get put on the back burner. That might push it out to 2008. Most people seem to have expected it to be the next project after Kanon was finished. Maybe not.
