I saw it. The whole bit at the beginning with the ugly robot fighting the other ugly robot seemed rather pointless, as it seemed to have nothing to do with anything...I don't know, perhaps it's one of those things they'll explain later, but right now, it seems like it was just a dumb "LOL ROBOTS R FIGHTING N STUFF" sequence. As a matter of fact, I found myself thinking "This'd be so much cooler if it were a video game".

The opening was great, because anything that sounds even remotely like Japanese people trying to rap is hilarious. With Engrish in spades, of course. The show itself, let's see...pretty standard "LOL SHIT IS HAPPENING" first episode stuff, which is to be expected, really. The setting is pretty cool and stylish, and you know, IT'S ALL THE FUTURE AND STUFF! Meg was pretty annoying (and so far, equally worthless), although she was eclipsed by Amy's annoyingness. Hopefully, I'll get used to her (I survived Airmaster's Renge, I'M UNSTOPPABLE!). Perhaps Meg will end up being worse, although that could just be me, as she's eerily similiar to my goddamn sister (right down to the name!). liek, o well.

Joe is awesome. I'm not sure what else I can say, because she's awesome. Radical, even. And yes, the official spelling is "Joe" (Lunar spelled it as "Jo". Sup guys, ever been to the DAMNED WEBSITE!?), which makes her even more rad.

The preview for episode two looked even better, so I'm certainly going to keep watching this. Just as long as that damned robot Jango (Fett! OL!) doesn't clash with the animation too much, like he did in the intro fight (the other robot...thing they fight in the episode wasn't as bad, though), I'll be happy.

And let me be the first here to say that Joe and Meg are TOTALLY lesbians.

Gonzo written all over this little gem. Girls with guns sells, now girls with
guns AND cool CG... Seems Gonzo made their CG stand out more than
they did with their previous works, which kinda clashes IMO. Occasional
fanservice, but lets hope they DO have a line of decency somewhere.

And what's with our resident clueless male / doomed cook. PLEASE
tell me they won't fall into the cliche of making all the girls fall in love
with him one way or another.
