I don't feel any confusion. If there's an e missing I couldn't care less, it sounds the same.
In Tekken, we refer to Hwoarang as "Bob," simply because it's faster and Bob is much harder to spell incorrectly.
@ HELLFIRE
Depending on how many episodes there are, they might actually do something with him. I doubt that he'll actual tote a gun and cause real havoc, but by the time the series is over, he'll be able to put "survival skills" on his resume and he might have a stronger backbone... maybe. He's good as comic relief right now, but I wanna see some development.

Normally, I couldn't care less about a name having several thousand different spellings (I've been through too many debates regarding this :|), but in this case, I think it's part of what makes the character. Having a male name is a character quirk, and for describing a gun-toting, stonic, (yet crazy, loud badass when things get going), dominant lesbian character, it's perfect and part of what makes the character so cool in the first place.
I'm going to name my daughter Joe, just to piss people off.

"Can I help you?, "you know this section is.." she broke off her sentence as the man walked towards her and nodded, "I think you can Captain".
Tessa looked down, "I haven't been called Captain in 4 years," Wha..what do you want?"
He gave her a devious grin, "I'm here to make sure you keep your promise."

You know what pisses me off?
People who review a show, comparing it to a full series, when barely even a quarter of the damned thing is out.
SHIN BITTER-1! HATE ON!
GAN GAN GAN GAN!
For god's sake, HE'S COMPARING IT TO LAST EXILE. A SERIES WHICH IS DONE, AND OF WHICH HE PROBABLY FINISHED. Based on the date, he's comparing THAT to a whopping FIVE EPISODES. I think we're all familiar with how common it is for an anime series to take a while to start really kicking ass, right? Some of the best series start out with rather mediocre first episodes. AND HE'S ALREADY DISMISSING THE WHOLE DAMNED THING.
"All of them suffer from fan service"? My bleeding asshole they do, there really isn't much at all.
Man, I hate people. :D

// leaves Capt McB to rant awhile in private
Chill... it's a REVIEW, and that means they're entitled to express their OPINIONS
...Simplest response to stuff like this is ignore 'em
Blue Sub 6 -- euh, haven't watched in awhile, so I don't remember
Kiddy Grade -- the less said, the better
Real Bout HS -- up the ying-yang just about every ep
Vandread -- Dita, Jura & Barnette... need I say more?
Chrno Crusade -- oh, there was a fair bit now and then
FMP! -- every now and then, I was honestly too busy paying attention
to the GunBunny things myself
Gravion -- cute girls and mecha... need I say more?
Regards

On a good day, a Tomahawk can fly into the door of a two-car garage at the distance of several hundred miles. And that can ruin your whole day.

That was in response to his reference to the girl's outfits, so uh, busted wrong move dere, buddy.
And yes, I understand that people have every right to hold their opinions, but he's reviewing the series. That's not a "what I think of it so far" forum post, that's a full out review on the site's section for that series, comparing only a few episodes to entire series. I'm sorry, but doing that is in a way irresponsible, considering he's scaring people away from a series that has barely even gotten off the ground. If that review is still there by the time the series is long over, people will probably think that it was after watching the whole thing (no, people don't check dates, you can trust me on that), and may just avoid what may be a great series (which remains to be determined thus far). I hate it when people rush to be the first to review a series like that, and I'm just comin' right out and sayin' so. Yes, I do usually ignore them, but sometimes, that's pretty hard to do, ya dig?
p.s. i hope there's more bakuretsu tenshi artwork in the near future, BECAUSE DAMN, IT LOOKS SWEET

Yeah, I know the feeling about the quote, unquote 'irresponsible
reviewers.' Just mind you, that doesn't take away from the readers'
own responsibility to read reviews from many sources, and also to
check it out for themselves. I'm personally not quite ready to
recommend anyone to watch B T given the pacing of the story, but I'm
not going to steer them away from it either... Gonzo has a REALLY good
rep for QUITE a ride, animation-wise... One or two instances have they
kinda missed in the story department.

Yes, the plot actually started to form after 7, but I didn't mind the intro episodes being filler. They were quite fun.

Fear not... Lunar Anime has not dropped Bakuretsu Tenshi... but supposedly summer laziness and crew conflicts have arisen.
Fortunately... seems like the dynamic duo of AnimeOne and Onigiri will provide us with 7 for now.

As a matter of fact, that WOULD be enough reason for me to just get it from another fansubber. When there are alternatives out there, ANY little reason is good enough to try someone else, especially when it's, you know...FREE. But no, it's not just that. I didn't like the way they subbed Meg's dialogue, with the "like" and such (I thought maybe it was the equivalent to the way she talked in Japanese or something, but the others I tried didn't do that, so I got skeptical). I prefered the way the others scripted it overall (yes, hard to explain, they seemed less...rushed) and even the font was annoying compared to the alternatives. But more than anything...MASSIVE file sizes. Every episode was around 229 so odd MB, compared to the average 150 so odd MB from everyone else. To someone with harddrive space problems as it is who needs to burn stuff on a fairly consistant basis, this IS a big problem.

Ah, I understand where you're coming from now...
In fact... I think I need to switch for Bakuretsu Tenshi, I wouldn't mind shaving off 70 MB per episode.

HDD size restrictions... is a phrase I'm not familiar with
Whatever floats your boat, I'll wait; anyone up for reviewing #7?
Lunar having crew conflicts... again? Didn't they have this with Maburaho
