From what I can translate roughly, the story takes place in 2131, immediately after some gigantic war which devastated the world ("Denuclearization Great war" anybody understand?) After this, fifty percent of the human population currently are clones in order to stabilize human society. The main character is a soldier who survived the war.
The rest becomes rather rough, and I'm thinking I'd be risking a spoiler by continuing.

Well replace clones with biodroids and that pretty much covers it ..

...maybe I'll just reread the DarkHorse manga
[quickreview]Deuian & her mecha lover Briaros come to Olympus
after WW3 and settle in, but not is all as it seems... something to
do with biroids and returning to Eden... I'm not sure if the DH translation
even properly conveys everything originally in the manga[/quickreview]

Manga Entertainment has the licence, so you may be able to order from
them. Otherwise, you should be able to find it in a video rental joint --
assuming they're smart enough to seperate the 'anime' from the
'animated pieces'

I say the same thing about the renting/buying anime stuff here in sweden.
DLing is the only way! for fmp to come to the store where they sell a little anime took them 1½ year!

Yeah I'd love to support anime by buying DVD's , but they sure make it hard for me to do it.
