Phantom the Animation

Post by Taurec »

Check it out .... they are pulling a Noir when it comes to the shootouts
but this time with the blood splatter.

Story:

A japanese student is going to LA and he witnesses a assassination.
Somehow he spotted the assassin and runs, gets caught and just before the kill he got drugged instead.
He somehow is "gifted" a "natural" killer and just needs to be trained to become the new uber killer ..... (oh baby)

Now at first he gets a choice (kill or be killed) but he declines and wanted to go home .. Wasn't it for the fact that his memory got erased so eventually he has nowhere to go......... and starts with the training ....

< pee break >

anyway we have lots of action scenes ... i forgot to tell the main assassin is a female wearing a tight suit  and she likes to lie naked on a table? :perv:
Then there is some more action .. blood .. yadda yadda..
His - cliche refusal to kill - scene until his switch got flipped and then even more blood and headshots ...

After Zwei (given name the chick is called Ein) did his job he seemed to have passed the test. (after a russian roulette)
onwards to episode 2 .......... yaaaay.

Now this one could have been very nice anime ... naked table chick, Guns and a dude that reminds me of the Crying Freeman.
But it's being dragged down by the boring action scenes where every shot has the same effect ... headshot blood repeat

i hope they get more creative ...

"Can I help you?, "you know this section is.." she broke off her sentence as the man walked towards her and nodded, "I think you can Captain".
Tessa looked down, "I haven't been called Captain in 4 years," Wha..what do you want?"
He gave her a devious grin, "I'm here to make sure you keep your promise."

On a good day, a Tomahawk can fly into the door of a two-car garage at the distance of several hundred miles. And that can ruin your whole day.

Got around to d/l'ing and checking out. I don't think head shots
are the bloody, Jack. A bit of Kite-ish in this... and I think this is
the first time I've seen an anime where the GUY has to do something
distasteful to save his life

...is it love-love between Ein and Zwei here? :-D

Usual disclaimer: don't ask where to get... there's always Google

Have to play catchup here...

link

...'ve yet to finish eps 2 and 3, but this wandered my way recently.
Anime-style 'choose your own adventure' type in the Phantom universe.
I've to play it some more, but Kikuko Inoue gets a role in there... and THAT
clinches it for me!! :-D
