New Bebop On Cartoon Network In Talks

This is big news, straight out of Japan. As of this morning, CN Manager Mike Lazzo is in talks with Mr. Hajime about bringing Bebop back in full production!!! No joke here ladies and gents. With Family Guy being renewed, and Futurama looking to follow behind it, the network has pitched out an idea for at least a second season of the show. A working title at the moment is being referred to as "The Lost Logs" with no real insight as to what they fully intends. At a glance, it would suggest looking back on old stories, probably between the time they found and lost Ed. Nothing has been official yet, just in talks at the moment. But it's a sign that the future of bebop may not be so dead.

But they didn't.

And now CN has become too addicted to a very well performing series and is begging for more episodes. "Lost Logs" my ass- they just want more filler episodes, because heaven forbid, the other series they have just aren't gosh darn good enough.

Haven't had a chance to catch CB before, but my general rule of thumb is
if they take THIS long before deciding to do 'a second season,' then some
desperation's cooking upstatirs Applicable to not just anime, but movies,
tv series, etc.

Well, till something more solid gets stuck in stone...

It doesn't look like they want a sequel- it looks like they want more 'filler' episodes from during and maybe before? the series.

I mean, 'Lost Logs'- that's not a name you give a sequel. It's what you call the episodes that didn't 'make it' into the first series. They're just looking for fluff stuff set before the series conclusion.

I say they should do a before and after thing like Samurai X did... Kinda flush out why Spike really left the cyndacit and how he and Vicioous was back when... DOWN WITH THE FILLERS!!! BRING ME SOME BEFORE AND AFTER!! I NEED CLOSURE CAUSE CB ENDING MADE ME WANT MORE BEBOP!!!

hmmm... lost eps, ha? interesting... the series were good, but if they are gonna show just a bunch of filler eps, it's not going to go good...

Gee, filler episodes when I already know the ending? I dunno how good that'll be. Well, the fillers can be great episodes, like the Mushroom Samba episode. But man, the ending's so sad and I think it should stay sad...

This would be like watching Scrapped Princess backwards :p.
