Sasahara Kanji begins his first year in a university.
The first thing to do is, to decide on a club to join.
He always loved anime, manga and games so he decides that he won't keep his interest in secret anymore and will do anything to become a great otaku.
So he joins the club with the name "Contemporary Visual Culture Research Organization". This club has very "unique" members.
A guy who loves making cosplay dresses, a girl who is a cosplay freak, and so on.
Of course with characters like this we can await lots of comedy and laughter, so I really recommend it.

Thanks!
It's good to be back!
About Genshiken, when I first read the story I thought, "hmm.... a story about Otakus can't be worth to watch", but I checked it out anyway and it was a pleasant surprise. There is hardly any story, but it still kept me going, so it was worth it.

Whiskey bravo Gauss
Finished the series recently myself... euh, kinda like a more lighthearted

in real life aren't this interesting

Hehe, well I don't know any otakus in real life,.....or could be I'm one of them I just don't realize.....
Well anyway, I think I'm crazy enough to join such a club if it really existed.

Yatta! More Satsuki Yukino and Ayako Kawasumi roles! I started watching this series too. Just finished ep5. It's funny.
Mainly because of two characters: Madarame and Saki. Without them it would be too mundane.
