One of my favorites of all time. I like the anime fillers too except for the very last arc about that Fengsui cult.

Used to follow the manga. (Yeah, all 28 out in Chinese a long long time ago over here.) Great stuff. I nearly freaked out when I read about the anime Seissouhen arc (a.k.a. Reflections), though. It was totally opposed to Watsuki's original intent and manga ending. :evil:

Never thought a sakabatou made sense .... and it doesn't

Circle- I never watched the fillers, seeing as I don't like them, but I know about it.

Pyrite- Indeed, but Watsuki had no control over the anime/OVAs.

Taurec- It doesn't make sense in terms of if it was real too. it'd be a lot heavier and it'd be awkward.

The anime is cool and all, but I really didn't like anything outside of what was covered in the original manga. Maaaan, I wish they could have stuck in the Enishi storyline, that would have been sweet. However, I don't think the manga was finished yet when the anime continued after the Kyoto arc.

Ah Kenshin - twas a serious anime/manga obsession of mine for a while. I prefered the the original story line. And was so put out with the last several episodes of the anime, I bought the entire manga set and had it shipped from Japan (back when I had $ to my name and a job). Then found translations online and read from whrere the story left off. (Thoroughly enjoyed reading it.) Never did get into the OVAs - because they seemed much darker.

@JelliCelli
Yes, from my understanding you are right on that. (Thus all the filler eps).

@Tau
See, you're missing the point of suspension of disbelief! :p

Well, if you read the manga, there's no need to see the OVA's.

It was also one of my heaviest obsessions. The OVAs are real dark, but they got the action, the history, the characters, and the drama that leaves you tortured with how great Rurouni Kenshin is. It's near the top of my favorite series since the english manga is still coming out, though I pretty much know what happens and all.

Well Nobuhiro Watsuki had no control over the OVA's, so it may have confused people on Kenshin "dying". But if you know what happens, you've read the online manga. :O?

Some of them. Don't want to know too much spoilers for the manga. :O
