That's an awsome jet anime.

Is there a continuation to it after episode 12?

Nope ... well in the manga afaik ...

All we have for this one is the older 3 EP OVA and the 12 EP series.
Not really sure I think I heard a rumour about A88 just don't remember what it was .. /me kicks own brain.

Edit ... ADV is going to redo the OVA.

Supposedly the 1st 12 eps was to test if there'd be interest in a 2nd season...

You may be able to find old copies of the manga lying around, and there is
a collection of the 1st 6 issues.

I'm not a fan of the moody noir style so I didn't like it at first. But I like the dogfights so I stuck to it and it kinda grows on you. Plus, I watched it dub while eating meals so it didn't seem like I was wasting my time. :)

I have the original 3 part ova. I like that better than this one, it was a bit more realistic and darker. :)

The dub was surprisingly not horrible. ~_~ I liked it better than the sub for some reason, though I rather disliked their use of Metres rather than Feet for altitude measurements. Havn't been able to get the Manga.

if you can call taking a squadron of Mach 2+ jets into a narrow canyon at
over 500knts realistic

@Katyusha
I had a chance on like the first 20 issuse of Area88 single issues, but the guy
wanted full cover price on them... :storm: Maybe I should go back and
see if I can't bargain the guy down to a buck a copy now...

That didn't happen in the OVA. (IIRC)

...like the 2nd or 3rd OVA... right after Shin returns to Japan if I remember right.
They have to hit an airbase, but there's too thick of a radar / AAA belt.
So the Col gets the bright idea to duck into the canyon and do alittle low
level TFR... manually.
