I remember Thunder Cats
But in here we didn't have it, as fas as I know, so I have not watched it.
Then my own list. I don't know if these are really anime, and they are not even old for real, but I don't think you really care about it
Moomin, what ever the anime it is properly called, was and still is some kind of hit in here. I have seen nearly all episodes, and few years ago even I remembered Finnish voices
What is about a miracle, I usually don't remember even "normal" actors. But I don't like paper version, somehow it feels just stupid and characters look like they are always unhappy and sad... Depressed.
Nirusu no Fushigi na Tabi (Nils and the wild geese in English, I think) is also one of my personal favourites. I just love the art, especially nature and especially trees at autumn.
Alfred J. Kwak is also nice... Some critice that Dolf (Kra) is too much like Hitler, but I don't think so. Ok, there is some things like Hitler in him, but nah.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Is there anything else to say?
Around the World with Willy Fog was just soooo cool when I was a kid... Strange thing that series are not the same any more. Princess Romy was and still is my favoirite character in this show.
DuckTales... Well, I loved it when I was a kid, but now I find it too sunny and happy. About everything is just sunshine and happiness. And that version of ”Glittering” Goldie O'Gilt just sucks! Goldie may be the best duck ever, not too good and not too bad, kind of very realistic caricature of human nature, and in DuckTales she is just about some insane bitch.

For me (forgive me my age,
):
Speed Racer
Starblazers
Halock
Galaxy Express 1999
Lupin
Voltron (both the 5 lions, and the *ahem* other one)
Prokect-Ako
Robotech (ack, *cough* *cough*)
Hercules (Yes, an Anime about you know who)
Ah! My Goddess
Maison Ikkoku
Moldiver
Dirty Pair
Thats it for now. o.O
as you can see I started in the late 70's. Of course I was in grade school at the time.

I remember a lot of those. I used to watch Voltron faithfully. I like watching Anime more now then I did then.

I used to love Mysterious Cities of Gold in my youth, it was so much fun! Plus Dogtanian, Willy Fogg, Thunder Cats etc I also loved Sherlock Hound, which I only found out had Miyazaki working on it quite recently
Alfred J. Quack was good too, the guy who did the original comic of it keeps an interesting blog with lots of information about the animation industry and what not, worth a look (I don't remember the URL though, but it shouldn't be hard to find).

We are not getting old. Just the quality of anime and cartoons.
