FullMetal*Panic!

Hello everybody,

after a long time not having free time and a much longer time not watching anime, i feel like watching an anime series again.

I'm searching for a series like school rumble, great teacher onizuka or the first fmp season without the mecha stuff. mecha, fantasy and all that is good, but I'm more interest in comedy and romance. sports maybe? I enjoyed Bamboo Blade for example.

Any ideas? don't hesitate to suggest well known animes. I'm sure I've missed many great and sucessfull series.
