half the songs he played at the end dont have those chord progressions in the orig songs.. (i know this cause i do play guitar)

As do I, and its not uncommon to change a song's key, and/or simplify/substitute. As would be the case if you're not backed by a band.

But he's a good comedian to pull that off. LOLz
