Ah, I missed the season2 premiere and then missed the encore rerun on Monday. Have to get it elsewhere now.
Any1 else watching this series? My brother showed me season1 of it a while ago and I like it a lot. It's got a theme that anime uses a lot; can robots be human? Can they love? Robo-love? Certainly cooler than Chobits.

#6 Shall be mine .. <g>
I'm not sure about the love thing .. but Sex got covered. (very well I might add.)
I just love the interaction between her and Balthar.
Not really sure what they put in his mind, but I want it .. <g>
S2 I saw the premiere and liked it But what do you expect after such a damn cliffhanger.
Stargate Atlantis - S2
Stargate SG1 - S9
That should keep me busy while the fansub groups are having a break.
(try NCIS) ..

Ep4:
Baltar: He (the chief) was involved with Lt. Valerii who most definitely is a toaster.
Blonde Cylon (#6): That word is racist, I don't like it.
Heh heh.
Spoiler/question:[ecs]When Baltar threatened Sharon with the chief's life, what was he trying to do? There's certainly easier ways to prove the chief isn't a cylon, so was Baltar really trying to find out how many cylons are left in the fleet? Or was Baltar trying to see if a cylon can really love? And when the little brat shot Sharon I was like wtf??! What a convenient plot developement. The brat didn't have to kill her to help the chief, he was already freed. But she probably saved her from the torment of being turned into a lab rat.[/ecs]
Very good episode.

Well ....
[ecs]
I don't know actually, since they are AI's why couldn't they be capable of giving (simulating) love, she sure feels she is real and on some occasions she alreay proved she was capable to go beyond her "programming" also they don't seem to have "hardware" for brains but they used biological components. maybe even cloning.
So she "loves" him and I would think she would have screamed anything to save him.
But yeah, I think for Baltar it was a experiment or he wanted to please Col. Tigh.
Did you also have the feel she's more human then Baltar. <g>
But can you say Jack Ruby.
Well first the "little brat" got back from a highly stressful situation she was clearly not able to cope with it nor
did she got any help afterwards.
It was the cylons that caused her so much pain (not to mention the death of millions) and then the figure she looked up to, the one who was there for her, got into deep shit because of the cylons causing her even more pain.
She had all the reasons to intensly hate the cylons, Valerii was the embodiment of her pain and since she was a toaster it would lower the threshold to kill her.
[/ecs]
But damn this show is doing a good job of pointing out human strenght and weakness.

I wonder what she (#6) planted in his brain to make this contact possible.
can't be coming from a external source.

Finally got around to watching ep5. Glad Starbuck is finally getting off that planet. Thought she'd be stuck there until the season finale.

Well I really didn't miss her <grin>
Still according to that cylon doc "she's special" so I would guess they succeeded in whatever they tried doing to her.
Would be interesting if she suddenly is pregnant of a human / cylon hybrid,
afaik Boomer returns to BSG.. Well if she doesn't get thrown out the airlock as ms. President "suggested"

I missed a few episodes and have since stopped watching Season 2. (don't want to spoil the eps I missed!) So I'm waiting for a inevitable marathon to air.
Any word on when Sci-Fi might do one?

Well, only 1 more episode left this season. So I'm guessing after that's over, they'll start the reruns. As for a marathon, it's probably not worth it for them yet since it's pretty fresh.

Guess the trip goes fast <grin>

Just watched the season finale, ep10. AHHHHHHHHHH CLIFFHANGER!!! Well, guess that's a given since it's the season finale.
Admiral Cain is a Nazi. Her ship and crew represents the even uglier side of war.
When does season3 start? January?

If they follow the old storyline she will redeem herself.
I'm one behind, But I couldn't help to dislike that interrogater guess the human lows are limitless.

Just watched the new episode (the continuation of season2). ECS: The... [ecs]shootout has been avoided thanks to Starbuck. But Adama believes that Cain won't let him live long and both sides plan for assassination. Damn, where are the ninjas when you need them. :p[/ecs]
