Stickied till the end of ComicCon -H

I am currently arranging rooms for comic con this year (again) and wondering if any of you would be interested in sharing a room with myself and a few other people. There are 2 rooms. 1 for males and 1 for females. There is about 3 spots left in the guys room and 4 or 5 left in the females room. the more people who are in the room the cheaper it gets. Pls let me know if ya interested ASAP.

Thanks

CPOK

noob question: I see the full 4-day registration is $50. Is there 1-day admission and how much would that cost?

@Circle
if I remember right, a 1day pass is like $25USD, but for what there is to see
and do, one day ain't gonna cut it... and I speak from personal experience.

Yup

Indeed, 1 day isn't enough. Hell, 4 days isn't enough!

Tho if you want to cut down on your costs, there is always volinteering for the 4 days.

Well, I've never been interested in going to an anime/comic convention before... but since I already live in San Diego, and you're coming all this way, I think I'll check it out with you people. I can take you to my favorite restaurant here, Chopstix; famous for its noodles (ramen, udon, soba). And if you've already been to Chopstix the last time you were in San Diego, we can goto another Japanese restaurant that's next to it and it serves Okonomiyaki and other Japanese favorites like hamburger steak. :-p

I can probably only go on the weekend... so 2 days, guess I'll drop the $50 for a 4-day pass. So just do the registration online before April 19th?

@Circle
I'll settle for a place within walking distance from the hotel that's open
after hours. I have a pet story from the last time I went to ComicCon
I had the case of the midnight munchies but couldn't find anything in the
frickkin' area :evil:

Well CPOK, remember we want plenty of pix of stuff there. Oh and if you see Brian Clevinger from 8-Bit theatre.....

Maybe I'll go another year.

Ah, almost forgot about this. I even already paid the $50 registration fee back in April. They didn't mail me anything so I guess I just show up to the convention with a picture ID?

I've never been to an arcade here (other than bowling alley ones :P).

But Dave and Busters is a really famous restaurant/bar in the city that has an arcade. http://www.daveandbusters.com/?f=1
Always wanted to go check it out but haven't. I looked on their site, they have DDR.

I've passed by an arcade before on Miramar Road, that's the only other one I know of.

@HELLFIRE, places open at midnight are Mexican food places and fast food drive thru's.

So who else is coming?

Flight is booked, room is booked (right CPOK?).. I just have to fax down
my app.. when I get off my butt to send it in *sighs*

EDIT: nvrmind, gotta love the power of online reg sometimes. Tho I do
passionately *HATE* sites that ask for the 3digit code on your CC.
I've been wary since learning of a scam that targets ppl to give it up cuz
by that time, the scammers already have the CC# of your card

No way! Kazuo Koike is going to visit this con..
Koike was Rumiko Takahashi's teacher before she started her own career.
Crap. San Diego is too far away. This _ is _ not _ fair >_<
