Okay, a two-man company and somehow the salesguy at the other end
tries to pass this setup off as "providing a solution that would allow for
system growth in future." Riiiiiight...

...heads must roll for this :storm:

Buyer beware, huh?

Sheesh, talk to someone computer savvy before buying the computer. I mean, a router and ethernet cords would do fine.

@HF

When you order via the DELL biz channel you get a detailed overview what you ordered and how much it's going to cost.

And they only send the hardware if you confirm the order.

If they were too stupid to understand something as simple as that, they should have gotten a iMAC... :roll:

So... she could probably pursue a legal challenge. Buyer beware, sure, but lots of places have consumer protection laws involving scams, and yeah, unless she really misrepresented her company, she got scammed.

I knew a business owner who couldn't grasp the concept of 'username and password'. Maybe 'server' and 'ethernet' sound alike or something. *snickers*

I'd like to see her get a lawyer. And what the lawyer manages to sell her :twisted:

Dell doesn't have a return policy? Or Dell Biz?
