Makes you wonder if they have a deathwish eh? Least I hear, the USS Ronald Reagan is still nearby... and F/A-18s and the nice and pretty AGM-84s they carry dont travel underwater either...

Or be in the right place to be shot at. I'm fairly sure F/A-18s and A-6s dont travel underwater...

euh Kat... the USN retired all the A-6s already.

And doesn't Iran have a s*tload of the newgen Russian SAMs like the -11
and -12?

AFAIK, they're claimed to be pretty good at taking out
subsonic and supersonic cruisemissiles. And Tomahawk and SLAM-ER
don't break more than 500knts max.
