First Microsoft got the brilliant idea of the 'Designed for' program way back
when Windows 95 came out -- and truth to tell that worked pretty good.
Now MS, in its infinite wisdom, has come out with (count 'em) three
Vista levels: Capable, Ready and Compliant.

...I had a good laugh when someone told me 'Microsoft has a habit of calling
a shovel a ground insertion management device'

Every year CPU's get faster .. but the programs more bloat to slow it down.

Why am I not partial to the idea of an OS that guzzles up more system resources than running X3: The Reunion?
