Hmmm it just hit the corner, so the storage ought to be intact.
Actually, it looks VERY intact for something that just stopped a 7.62R

I'm sure the impact shock wreaked the drive. Those stamp drives can only take 20g's impact shock when they're shut off.
Out of all the technical improvments, we're still using fragile rotating metal platters.
