WHERE does this bloody insanity stop?! Oh, and the punishment? She couldn't
go on a year-end school trip because she was posting inappropriate pictures
on the intarweb. Damn good punishment for the f**kup, if you ask me.

Oooooh yes, I heard about this story on NPR. That's CRAZY! Since when does a court ever have a say in a situation like that? Jeez, any parent would have done the same thing. It's like being sent to your room, going to bed without dinner, etc., etc. I'm sorry, we know your daughter is a slut, but this is just too far!

The court in Quebec must not have a lot of other stuff to do, if they are wasting their time with cases like this.

What a bunch of goozners! You have the judge that agreed to hear the case, instead of throwing it out at the outset; a weasel attorney who agreed to represent the little snot kid; and the mother for not stepping in putting a stop to it.

I'm guessing Jelli is probably right that this is the result of an ongoing custody battle. If I was the father, I would petition to have custody transferred to the mother, or barring that, to the stupid judge who ruled on the case.

Is it just me, or is this Nanny State run amok?
