And so over 10 years after... {spoilers inside}

...I now have Starcraft 2 in my hands. My preorder came in (with SC being my fave RTS... ever, I naturally grabbed the collector's edition for goodies). I just got back from the launch.
First Impressions!
The box is... bloody heavy actually. Its not much bigger than a regular PC game's box but it's pretty heavy.
Unwrapping the shiny shrinkwrap, it becomes apparent why. The box is bloody solid plastic. The design is also pretty awesome, but we all knew that by now. Let's get to the opening.
I start digging into the contents. Most of the stuff is kinda eh. There's some coupons to pass people that lets them download and play SC2 on battlenet for a limited time, and some WoW passes, and a comic. The comic is interesting enough but it's just an extra.
I dig in deeper. The manual is... pretty hefty. Not as hefty as a manual from a Jane's game, but you could still whack a dude with it. There's a 2 page spread of Kerrigan in the first few pages. I uh... yeah we'll look at that later. >_>
Next up! What we've been waiting for! The actual game itself! ...But that can wait a moment while I finish digging up the box.
At the bottom is a USB on a necklace chain, meant to sorta look like a Terran dogtag. Inside is a copy of the original Starcraft and Broodwar. It is also fudgie heavy and made of metal. I dunno what kind.
The box done I get to the good part. Time to install!
...Well shit, the game requires 12 gigs and I only have 7 free from all the stuff I have lying around.
Gameplay pics and stuff right after I scrounge up and burn stuff to DVDs so I can install it.
