Yeah I think so too. Although the dubbed version is still pretty good compared to other dubbed anime shows I've seen.

I watched the first ep of FMP dubbed.

I am a huge Tomokazu Seki fan. I love how he vocalizes characters. Most times, the american dubbing a character originally voiced by Tomokazu Seki annoys me and I will refuse to watch the dub. Surprisingly enough, Sagara's voice was pleasant.

As for Kurtz, Vic is a wonderful guy in person. I'm glad to have met him and he's also originally from Pittsburgh. But I think his voice is too young for Kurtz. He gets the emotional inntonation right on, but I'm so used to hearing a deeper voice it's hard to adjust.

Overall, I'm pleased. I've been watching more anime dubs these days since they have been improving. The Hellsing dub was excellent, imho. I still prefer the original Japanese versions, but I'm more willing to watch dubs these days if I'm tired or watching stuff with my mom.

I agree the Hellsing dub was exellent! They did a really good job on that.

I liked Kurts, Melissa, Kaname and Tessa's voices in the dubbed version the best out of the voices there...
