the scarey thing is, it is a lot easier to do then most people think. As long as said person is patiant enough.

I must be the only person here who isn't too fond of Chidori... Maybe I'm too uptight. If Tessa is continuing to pursue Sousuke, they should at least make that relationship plausible, it hurts me too much to see Sousuke close to Kaname
Anyway, it would be nice to see more of Mao and Kurz... oh and Kalinin too, that guy's cool.
I'm disappointed to hear that Gauron is back, I hate that guy SOOO MUCH!!

Kaname's behavior
Kaname's behavior has changed over the course of the season. In the very beginning, yes, she was cruel to Sousuke, but c'mon, he seemed like a perverted stalker, not someone protecting her with his life.
During the kidnapping attempt, she trusts him wholeheartedly, refusing to leave him behind to die. From that arc, the the two most powerful sequences are when Sousuke sees Kaname in his mind's eye and disobeys his orders to rescue her. The second is when Kaname comes to the realization that all the strange things Sousuke did were for her.
In the beginning of "Unsafe Safehouse," she tells Sousuke she hates him, but later she realizes she was cruel and made a major mistake. She goes to his apartment and apologizes to him, something that I think she finds very, very difficult to do.
During the War in the Homeland arc, she frets over his absence to the point where Kurtz and Melissa notice and try consoling her. Kaname specifically asks his squadmates what she can do for him when he returns to show him she missed him (or was it to try and make him happy?). To Sousuke, I think actions truly speak louder than words. Her waiting in the hall for him to return shows that yes, she does care about him, and quite deeply. That scene is one of the most heart wrenching and touching scenes in the series.
Yes, she loses her temper when he's overprotective and "a gung ho military nut," such as when he builds a gate to prevent a terrorist attack at the school's cultural fair. Sousuke is a hard person to care about, because he is so far outside the range of normal. She still accepts him the way he is, even if she wishes he'd stop blowing up the school.
After she saves the Tuatha de Danaan from Gauron, she's remorseful that she's such a danger to him, and he'd be better off without her. It takes Sousuke telling her that she is one of the few people he can lean on (I think the only other people he feels that way about are his squadmates, and maybe Kalinin) to calm her down. If she was such a bad person for him, why would she care she might get him killed?
In general, Kaname is truthful about what she feels (well, as much as she's willing to admit to herself), yet is willing to admit when she made a mistake. She is open with him in the second season, even if it is through the proxy of Bonta-kun. She's not perfect, but who is?
There's also the fact that Sousuke and Kaname complement each other well, to the point that Sousuke feels they can do anything together. Sousuke also thaws around Kaname, actively showing his concern for her, while never doubting her ability to be an asset instead of a burden.
Tessa, on the other hand, takes advantage of his confusion for her own ends, such as when she escapes to his apartment, or when he trains her on the AS. I also think Tessa has an overly idealized view of Sousuke, and does not see or refuses to see his faults. All she really knows is that Melissa praises him, he's attractive, and he's loyal to her because she's his commander. After the anime she uses her rank to further her goals of catching him. Hasn't she heard it's a bad idea to get involved with someone who serves under her? I would have thought Kalinin or Mardukas would have taught her that, even if it wasn't a Mithril regulation.
*shrugs* That's my reasoning, but ymmv.

Kaname: "Sousuke, you are the only person I trust."
