I'm always keeping up to date with Naruto, but I ALSO am caught up with the recent volumes of the manga too so I already know whats going to happen in the anime thats been released.

when i was first watching naruto, i was kinda like "hey, it's somewhat like Slam Dunk..."

y'know, Sasuke is like this super rookie who's got all the tools to complement his game [Rukawa] and there's Naruto, who doesnt seem to be able to do much but has lots of hidden power and potential inside [Hanamichi Sakuragi]

oh well. just a useless analogy...

Heh, I saw Slam Dunk a long time ago, dubbed in Chinese, when I lived in Taiwan. Don't remember the character names but I get you're analogy. There was another sports anime like it during that time. It was about soccer, I don't remember the name of it but it was better than Slam Dunk. :p

has anyone seen the ep 77 subbed by Live-Evil
its suppose to be a april joke of some kind and the OP and ED songs were translated with bablefish...
and it may contain some vulgar language... naruto is suppose to be a real bitch with his potty mouth

I saw the April Fools eps. A few laughs but it definitely could've been much funnier. The subbers stuck to actually translating the dialogue (as opposed to just random funny stuff), only adding a bit ghetto-ness and such. Also some added music and sound effects not found in the original.

And yeah, pretty obvious the OP/ED were done with Babel Fish ^_^

ep 78 is astonishingly awesome!!! new op and ending (really nice songs and animations

) and lots of good action. Naruto lacked these lately, but this episode really makes up (well, almost

Episode 80 out now by ANBU... pretty good but mostly just about the funeral... and then someone important makes an appearance at the end..

I've caught up to ep94, it's nearing the climax of the Tsunade arc and the next 2 episodes will be shown back to back in a one hour special kinda thing. For some reason Tsunade seems cooler in the anime than in the manga

I really like the new ending animation, with the outlines of the girls in beachwear and then the background is painted in, then the girls themselves painted, really pretty

. Who's the 2nd girl with the braids? The first one is Sakura of course, the 3rd looks like Ino, and the 4th is Hinata. My only guess about the 2nd girl is she's TenTen.
