The Esca movie?
Good movie....

Just a warning- the Ecsa manga that is being released in the US sucks.
The curious can check it out, but really, it's pretty bad, and not like the series. So, good move E.

alright so i watch the movie and i thought it was really short.
like i could totally tell they were trying to cram a bunch of stuff into the movie.
i know that here is a series where the character look similar to the movie,
because i have an anime music video that i downloaded that has it in it.
so now i will go sulk because this sucks.

The movie's basically the TV series crammed into 90mins with the
European mythology references (ie. Atlantis) removed, and more
focus on the battle between Van & Folken, and yes the chars are reinterpreted
and reimaged. It's a hit or a miss depending on your tastes...

ONE THING you CANNOT knock is the Sora song
what's-her-name sings. It's just SO beautiful!!! Anyone who disagrees....

Bandai -- I THINK -- holds the licence to the TV series, and should
be available from anyone that offers DVDs for sale -- I've seen copies
still at FutureShop, etc. now 2 years after YTV / Cartoon Network finished
airing the hackjob that was VoE

yeah, but helping Esyla see VoE helps her understand Bel's fic

Yeah, Bandai did US Esca, and the series has been out quite a while now so you could probably pick up the series much cheaper than full price.

Used dvds are cheaper, and even online retail may have whole bundles for discount. Its just a matter of looking and having the money to spend.

I haven't seen the movie, but I have most of the magna. While most of the story comes from thse sources, I'll freely take from others.

As for the story outline.............I like to keep some surprises, ma'am.
