I saw vol 4 in the bookstore and flipped through it. Saw the nice pin-up and the volume has the Bonta-kun intro episode :-D . So I bought it (along with Berserk vol 1).

I saw Waldenbooks are starting to get them, but I have yet to see them anywhere I frequent online or irl.

ADV manga never replied to my email asking about FMP vols over 5. Their release schedule stops at 5 for FMP, even though it lists several months in advance. I'm going to try to email them again.
The audience applauded, even though it was not clear what Bush meant.

"Can I help you?, "you know this section is.." she broke off her sentence as the man walked towards her and nodded, "I think you can Captain".
Tessa looked down, "I haven't been called Captain in 4 years," Wha..what do you want?"
He gave her a devious grin, "I'm here to make sure you keep your promise."

Found it at Borders today. At the bottom of the final page of manga, it says 'continued in volume 6' but there's no other reference or release date (either in the book or on ADV's site) to Vol 6. And checking the japanese vol 5, it's the same on the last page, so no mystery solved there :(

Tau- I might. I'll give ADV manga proper another chance first. Anyone else wants to try is welcome to...

I just got Vol5 today myself. Pretty good (especially for you Tessa fans :tessa:).

Odd thing is the back says "gripping final conclusion" fitting in with what ADV has said (that theyre being asses and only doing to 5).

HOWEVER, it should be noted that the "continued in vol.6" is in ENGLISH at the end.

eg. They translated it so we'd know there's more to come...

hmmm...
All the links in my sig went dead. ; ;

That's why it's confusing. But I compared the last page to the japanese version, and it says the same thing (in japanese), in the same place. They even used the same style 6 in a circle.

If they do not have lisence for the rest (or are unaware of them), probably the translator just maintained the translation, reproducing the page as-is, and whoever edited and double checked it didn't notice? *shrug*

Have yet to get a chance to purchase V5 myself, but a friend loaned it to me.

Good points:
- WONDERFUL images of Tessa & Kaname. Mao in leather anyone?
- shows the softer side of Tessa, and how human she can be regarding
the pressure she faces, both when she was younger and the 'wonder
child,' and now as CO of the Danann. Not to fan the flames of I Love Tessa
v. I Love Kaname, but I rather like how they make Tessa so open to us
as a person who has uncertainties and foibles like we do. Kaname's are
only revealed to us via Sousuke, and often in the heat of tense moments.
- REALLY touching Tessa side trip in Japan. Again, she's made to be a
rather down-to-earth girl who's experiencing a rather simple but enjoyable
trip. I see where Kyoto Aniamtion got the inspiration for that shot of Tessa
in the field of sunflowers for Fumoffu :-D

GOTTA GET!! GOTTA GET!!

Even though their release schedule is posted several months in advance, it looks like it's only complete up to the end of July. I mean, they have Those Who Hunt Elves volume 5 (hilarious series btw) being released on 7-27, then the next listing of TWHE is for volume 7 on 9-28 - volume 6 is kinda... missing... in that list. FMP seems to be getting a lot of good press, it's popular and it's been selling well, so I'm not worried they'll stop putting it out, but I do share the frustration of not knowing how long we'll have to wait for the next one. It seems lots of manga pubishers are bad about that, they'll release a bunch in a few months, then wait 6 months, then release a bunch more. Argh.

What email addy did you use to contact them, and I'll write as well. Maybe if enough people ask they'll update their website :)

Back when I first checked the site they had their release schedule listed through the end of the summer. They've since changed the website and that release list...

I don't remember which email but if you find ADV's contact page, they don't seem to have a specific manga email, so it was one of the general info contacts...
