The "Want to see" list is always going to be like that until I get a steady income :(

I'll check your list ASAP, and I think I'll add more comments to mine.

I was being generous there too... I only found out my beloved seiyuu Mitsuishi Kotono was the lead role after I talked to HELLFIRE...

I went into that anime expecting... something good. Instead I received some rather uninspiring animation, music, and plot. And the fight scenes were... Now throw that in with some characters I couldn't care less about (and were never all that developed) and you get my rating.

Somehow I thought those type of comments would have been directed to Akira, Grave of the Fireflies and Ghost in the Shell instead of Variable Geo, oh well.

Eh, can't say I blame you entirely. Not many people enjoy VG because they expect far too much. It's a cheesy little three episode fun fest of fighting, breasts, some more fighting, silly crazy talk about "fighting spirit" and "ki" stuff, and some more breasts. I'd think people would expect this just from reading the description (FIGHTING WAITRESSES WHO STRIP WHEN THEY LOSE), but I guess not. It's an anime about hot chicks fighting, what do you want?

And I think people are already well aware of how "overrated" those other things you mentioned are (I disliked all three of those myself, so I agree with you there), so there's almost no need to say anything.

I suppose you have a point there. The only reason I actually watched Variable Geo in the first place is because I heard about Variable Geo Neo. Unfortunately at that time no episodes were available, so I had to live with the prequel.

Now... onto something that will be on my "Seen all" list soon... "Onegai Twins."

SLIGHT SPOILERZ!!

My goodness, I'm on ep 10, and I'm almost regretting I borrowed this anime.

Mina is annoying, and guess what?? so is Karen. Another case of anime where I enjoyed some of the supporting cast more than the main cast.

You got them blabbing about "Love alliance rule #xxxx." Miina, the aggressive, easily angered, stubborn type and Karen, the "oooh, I can't do anything without you!!" klutzy, weak-hearted (referring to her constant fainting) doormat girl (but this time a doormat I would not want).

How many ****ing times are they going to say "we might be related.... but we might be be strangers too!!"?? How many times will they do a transition to that picture?? How many times will they have Miina and Karen annoyingly repeating the same things out loud and in their head??

I was surprised that they reduced Matagu into a (what I would see as a) incest lolicon... Kei... I don't even know why he's in here if he never even speaks. Then they reduced Morino Ichigo into a peeping tom... well, at least that part was humourous... but did she always laugh like that?

I guess I'm just not cut out for these incest angles... maybe not, I guess the closest I can get is when the word "adopted" comes into play. At least Da Capo... well, nevermind, I ended up hating Nemu, I was actually rooting for Sakura since I knew Yoriko, Kotori and Moe would have no chance...

And there you have it... a nonsensical rant of brought to you by none other than "Timeless Enigma" Tsushima Masaki. Tune in next time when he'll be completed the whole series, and will have been bored to tears. then he'll tell you, THE REST OF THE STORY.

Only on FOX!!

...funny, because I think VG Neo is a horrid, lazy bastardization of the original VG. :D

Onegai Twins: Proof that borrowing things your friends bought/forced them to buy is always better than actually shelling out the cash that is better used on a truckload of Snickers bars.

I DID IT, I ****ING DID IT.

I finished Onegai Twins, likely one of the worst sequels/spinoffs to a program I've ever seen.

My opinion of Karen is that she should be DEAD... I could not stand her as the episodes went on. Miina... she was the only one who I had hope for. And Mike... I mean... "Maiku"... well he's the obligatory male in the harem series. That house will be some bordello some day...

I must have been the only one who enjoyed the main secondary characters of Tsubaki and Shimizaki more than I enjoyed the mains.

Oh well, now you know... THE REST OF THE STORY.

The only good thing I did enjoy wholeheartedly in this series was the music!!

The ED is my favourite, the OP I enjoy less than the ED. KOTOKO can do no wrong!

Anyway, catch me next time, as I tame the beasts of To Heart and Trigun.

Heh, thx for the heads up. I thought Onegai Teacher wasn't so great so didn't want to watch the sequel anyways. I'll look for the ending song though :).

The ED is called "Asu e no Namida."

The single it's on contains both the OP and the ED.

Damn KOTOKO and her singing... I've never heard a bad track from her.

Keep in mind that all that was my opinion of course. I think I may be more particular than most people and harder to please.

My goodness... I actually gave another anime a "Masterpiece" rating.

Maybe it was because it was still fresh in my mind...

It was Trigun...

Ya, Trigun's really good. I recently finished Azumanga Daioh and gave it "Excellent" ratings. Maybe I'm being a bit generous also.

"Can I help you?, "you know this section is.." she broke off her sentence as the man walked towards her and nodded, "I think you can Captain".
Tessa looked down, "I haven't been called Captain in 4 years," Wha..what do you want?"
He gave her a devious grin, "I'm here to make sure you keep your promise."

Azumanga Daioh is one of the best recent comedy/slice of life/schoo life anime that I've seen. I was sad at the end just because it was over, lol.
