I finally saw episode 6. I'm gonna stop watching the RAWs as I think it's a waste of time now, the subs have mostly caught up.

Episode 6 was big on revelations, especially on the Kurama side of things. I think they all tie in together. If you'll notice, Kurama's daughter looks VERY similar to Yuka and maybe even Kouta's sister.

SPOILERS

In episode 6, it seems Lucy infected a school girl with her vector, and may have turned her into a Carrier (sterile diclonius).

I believe Kurama killed his daughter because she had been turned into a carrier. Lucy must have killed Kouta's sister and father 8 years ago. Kouta's sister seems to have been a carrier as well.

If you check out the animesuki forums, they're way ahead. Some tell us about what happens in the manga (which isn't even complete btw). I really like this show. At first sight, it's repulsive, but thank goodness after the first episode (for now), the excess of gore has decreased.

Call me crazy, but for me... Elfen Lied is shaping up to be my favourite anime of 2004.

Episode 7 is very good. Pretty funny too, more jokes than usual (at the expense of Nana's cluelessness).

It ends at a cliff hanger though when Nana sees Nyuu again and lunges at her.

Even in RAW form this ep was pretty funny, and the sub was great.

I'm hoping that Nana and Lucy can coexist peacefully, but that was some scary imagery in the preview for epsidoe 8, those bloody handprints everywhere.

Why is lucy the "queen bee" what makes her special. isn't nana just a smaller lucy

the virus if i m not wrong is wad gives them their extra arms and the horns and if they so called mate... the virus spreads or sumting like that......

*yeah thats part of my theory w/o watching the subs that is...*

also ep07 was pretty good... about how nana played a fool wif the crazy gunner.... and oso i have another guess that the guy in specs nana's father's boss could be kouta's father.... (i dunno y i just have this feeling)

I believe it was explained in an earlier episode why Lucy is different from other diclonius.

She has the ability to mate and produce fertile diclonius, not just carriers.

hmmm..... i wonder ... i tink perhaps yuka is nana's father's real daughter as u see his wife's face is similar to yuka's also... if thats the case.. yuka has every right to fall for kouta as she is not his cous any more(no blood relations)

Refer back to similar animes and will know that blood related ppl dun go together.... (da capo:nemu and asakura<adopted sis and bro>)(Onegai twins: meena and maiku<blue eyes and blue eyes>)
