Actually I have to convince myself that it is worth spending 9800 yen + P&H for it actually TT. saw it in Japan as the limited edition box set.

yeah that's ok it'll be like dragon ball or ranma or inuyasha or naruto with a total of 200+ episodes to complete the story! just think of the interaction in between! and it will not be bad like the others I mentioned because this story is already written out and ppl already like it so yay!

Ok, I translated the page with babelfish and it came out sounding like it was written by a schizophrenic. Care to summarize it for us non-Japanese-speaking otaku?

A translation group named Boku-Tachi have someone that's been translating the Full Metal Panic novels. Not all of them, but the translations they have cover a story arc called The End of Day by Day.

According to what I understood of the babelfish translation of this page http://www.kadokawa.co.jp/fujimi/panic/panic.html, it seems that the third season will be announced on 22th day of this month in some "Makuhari"-event(dunno for sure).

The author, Shouji Gatou, will be giving out signed copies of the new book, Tsuzuku On My Own, at the Tokyo International Entertainment Market on October 22nd, where he and some of the animators will also talk about the upcoming series.
