Okay, ADV never replied about the manga issue, however a release list for later this year has vol 6. (They changed the copy for vol 5 on the manga website. My guess is that some people thought there were only 5, and weren't prepared for 6+)

Anyway... release date is (don't choke) November 23

And remember they're only up to 7 in Japan, so we'd have a long wait later anyway.
The audience applauded, even though it was not clear what Bush meant.

Jae, do you have a link where you found out the release date? I looked over ADV's (very non-helpful website) but couldn't find anything. It'd be much appreciated!

And erk.... Nov 23..... is soooo long!!! I guess maybe the team translates things in batches? Work on books 1-5 for a few months, move on to another title for a few months, come back and do a few more, etc. However the novel series is still ongoing correct? So if they are following the novels at all they still have material for LOTS more manga, and we could get new manga for years more... ? *hope beyond hope* That isn't an unreasonable thing to hope for is it?

(I just learned a new proverb today - "In the kingdom of hope there is no winter" - Russian, appropriately. Thank you Stargate!! :-D )

Over at animeondvd.com they linked to rightstuff.com who had listed it for pre-order.

Rightstuff's listings have proven to be very accurate, usually listing ADV's releases before ADV's officially announces them. (they seem to have some special arrangements, such as Rightstuff getting some exclusive ADV merchandise every now and then)

Sorry I didn't make direct links

Whoops- edit- forgot that yes, both manga and novels are still ongoing. The manga hasn't yet begun the final arc in the anime yet, so there is a long ways to go if they're going to run with the whole story.
The audience applauded, even though it was not clear what Bush meant.

Yeah, it's out in a few weeks but some nice comic stores put it out on the shelves at the beginning of the month as they generally get their stock around then. Now if my local Forbidden Planet store wasn't so damn expensive for manga, I'd go get a copy, but I'll just have to wait till Amazon get it

A great resource for finding out exactly when comics are shipping, and manga are listed under comics for the purposes of the US market, is to check out Diamond Comics website here: http://www.diamondcomics.com/shipping.asp They're the major US distributor of all comics.

That website is going to be more accurate than what the publishers put on their websites, but it only lists what's coming out for this week and the next (what they're actually receiving from publishers.) It's worth noting that comic stores generally get their comics first, before bookstores like Barnes and Noble and Borders can and do. If you have a local comic shop it really pays to drop in some time after 11:00 am on Wednesdays (when all comic shops get their Diamond shipments.)

You know, I got and read Vol 6 last night but I was actually pretty disappointed with it. Practically all the story material was in one episode or another of Fumoffu, or was just a rehash of something before :? meh. Can you tell me if Vol 7 is going to be the same way?

"Can I help you?, "you know this section is.." she broke off her sentence as the man walked towards her and nodded, "I think you can Captain".
Tessa looked down, "I haven't been called Captain in 4 years," Wha..what do you want?"
He gave her a devious grin, "I'm here to make sure you keep your promise."

I have vol 7, but since I can't read Japanese, I have no idea what it is about.
Anime: its not about the big guns, Its about the bouncies!
