Whoops! I forgot, my mistake, sorry.Circle wrote:Cool. Looking forward to reading it.
BTW, Brandi does the translating and she's a lady. ;-)
BTW, Boku-Tachi has updated the website and there was this message
"Firstly, to address the multitude of emails we have received regarding the Full Metal Panic Novels
1. Each book has five chapters.
2. Brandi is currently intending to translate the book following DVMC.
3. The next chapter will be released as soon as humanly possible, whether that be every two weeks or every two months, but we will always release another chapter whenever we can.
Any emails we receive that asks us any questions that can be answered by reading the above will be ignored and trashed. We love hearing from you guys, but it gets annoying to be asked the same thing over and over."
Better not to send any email including those things.

"Can I help you?, "you know this section is.." she broke off her sentence as the man walked towards her and nodded, "I think you can Captain".
Tessa looked down, "I haven't been called Captain in 4 years," Wha..what do you want?"
He gave her a devious grin, "I'm here to make sure you keep your promise."

I can imagine how annoying the constant pestering must be.
Frankly, I'm more than willing to wait a bit between chapters, especially if Brandi's busy with things as important as graduation and planning a wedding. I love FMP, but priorities, ya know?
It's great to know that we'll have a new chapter fairly soon, though.

Well, I read all three chapters in one night, and at the end of it, I went, "Damn." I fell off my chair laughing at Al's smartass remarks, and the fact that he's saying it in a monotone....
<E3 destroyed. Great balls of fire.>
"Quit talking nonsense."
And the part when Al says, "Not a problem. It only uses one or two gigabytes of storage,".... doesn't this AI have heard of MP3?
Kurz would make a fairly good leader - that's why Cluzout and Melissa are putting him in for Sgt. Major. It just too bad that he's getting choked to death by an Astral... hopefully, Wraith has something up his/her sleeve.

I'm wondering how dark the story may end up becoming. With the Astrals on
board, Mithral is in deep pocky. I doubt they bothered to bring heavy anti-armor weaponry on board, and even if they do have some heavier weapons other than submachine guns and pistols (grenades are not going to be effective against the Astrals), one wonders just how effective they'll be against the robot soldiers. Moving targets are hard to hit, and if Mithril doesn't want to endanger the ship and its passengers, it'll have to be careful in dealing with the damn things. The Astrals won't be holding back, that's for sure. No doubt if the ship sinks with all hands, it wouldn't really cause a problem. I don't think that Kaname's survival is of paramount concern to
Amalgam. They (or Leonard) have plans for her, but I get the feeling if she were to die, they'd just adjust their plans.
@ Wild Goose: Looking at your sig, I get the feeling your a fan of "Yukikaze",
yes?

Well, my understanding is that the PRT and SRT members onboard are armed with rubber bullets, and perhaps flashbangs.
Sousuke, being who he is, might just be able to use flashbangs against the Astrals - maybe it could distract the sensors that way?
Regardless, I have a feeling that MITHRIL's gonna get creamed - with poor Kurz goin' first.
(And yes, I'm a fan of Yukikaze. ^_^)

I would make my guess that Mithril would be prepared for something to go wrong, and would have real bullets as well. Just a guess, though.
