I only watched the original SEED, but I can safely say that the Archangel's positron cannons are Lohengrins - main difference probably being the side that makes them.
.... I thought so too, but this ep's animation only showed the one in her bow
structure. EDIT: Minerva image Seems she only has the one, Zaku Phantom & Warrior launch
deck's further aft, topped with those beam turrents. As for Archangel's armaments:
- 225cm dual high-energy beam cannon "Gottfried Mk.71" x 2
- 110cm linear cannon "Valiant Mk.8" x 2
- positron blaster cannon "Lohengrin" x 2
- 75mm automatic multi-barrel CIWS "Igelstellung" x 16
- large missile launcher x 24
- surface-to-air missile launcher x 16
- anti-beam depth charge launchers

Hey, watch out, or Sesame Street will sue. :-P

So basically, Archangel could kick Minerva's ass, couldn't it? I suppose Minerva is more manuverable though. At the very end of the next episode preview, it seems we got a glimpse of the primary characters meeting on
the shore somewhere. Doesn't look they're at each others throats... yet.... :D

Well imho Archangel lacks a good targeting computer .. in SEED S1 they kept hitting thin air. :-D

"Can I help you?, "you know this section is.." she broke off her sentence as the man walked towards her and nodded, "I think you can Captain".
Tessa looked down, "I haven't been called Captain in 4 years," Wha..what do you want?"
He gave her a devious grin, "I'm here to make sure you keep your promise."

Well, Archangel WAS good at shooting down incoming missiles. We never
did find out if they could've hit Deakke's suit at pointblank range that
one time... and so far Minerva's in for how many again, other than blasting
the remnants of Junius 7?

Hopefully Archangel & Co. can explain this little fracas to their potential allies on
the Minerva... Murrue & Talia would make the ULTIMATE team!! :-D

Bets on whether Kira & Athrun have to do the whole 'KIRAAAAA!' / 'ATHRUNNNNNNNN'! thing again?

...on a different note...Seed kinda reminds me of G Gundam :-P

Destiny gundam >>> Shining Gundam (the 'shining finger' bit XD )
Freedom >>> God Gundam
Destroy Gundam >>> Devil Gundam

...and what's up with naming it 'Destroy Gundam' ? I think they should have went with 'Apocalypse' or 'Judgment' or something. C'mon..'Destroy Gundam'? Wow. Sounds really scary. :?

Destiny? Destroy? Are you talking about Gundam Seed, or Gundam Seed Destiny?
Not to forget, this a Japanese production. English/Engrish just sounds cool to them, they don't always try to pin deeper meaning to names. ^_^

Ep 24 had the interesting discussion between Kira, Cagalli, Athrun, and Mirillia
sp?, and it had a certain admirer of Athrun eavesdropping. So now Athrun has found out about the attempt on Lacus's life... lets see what he does next.
Ah, we also stumble upon a certain facillity, cloning, probably. It certainly caused a reaction in Rey Za Burrel... Wouldn't doubt it has something to do with our 3 wonderful brainwashed toy soldiers as well.

...G Gundam's somewhere on the 'torture material I have to try for s*ts
and giggles' sometime. Kinda translation is THAT?!?! Devil Gundam?!

Just when you thought Shinn's immaturity had been ground out by Athrun,
he manages to find a way to run down Orb / Cagalli again. Dips*t!

So Athrun (temporarily?) detaches himself from Minerva to open dialogue with
Archangel & co, while the three intrepid Minerva crewmembers get to play
Jame Bond... whiskey tango foxtrot is Lunamaria up to following Athrun for?!
Making sure he stays faithful to ZAFT or to her... however blind he may
be to her and her sister's more-than-passing interest. Does that little
'data dump' Rey grabbed have something to do with this little intel op?
And what's up with our little house of horrors and 5 little questionmarks
in the series (Neo, Stellar, Sting, ___ and Rey)

Somehow Archangel's refits got her an onboard HOTSPRINGS!?!?!??!?! :perv: :perv: :perv:

Millia & Deakke... seems she doesn't want to be reminded of him. Something
go alittle sour?

...I HATE having to wait for the next ep. HOPE it picks up A-SAP. Just realized
they're already at the halfway mark and there's more questions than answers

Random Stuff:
- For some reason I keep getting a Karou-type vibe during Heine's flashbacks *shudders*
- requisite Nicol death scene... AGAIN!!
- Lacus-2 concert... hands Tau some earplugs
- Yuna in pokadotted PJs and hugging one of those tube-type pillows
- Bartfelt at mealtime
:-D

true.. alot more questions now than answers.
but finally some real action again...

I even got to see the "Real" main Character kick some ZAFT & EAF arse... totally pwning everyone..
I just loved it... no one is as good as kira... (hopefully it stays that way)

Lunamaria was in some kind of shock when they were talking about the real Lacus's assassination attempt and/or the fact that kira was the pilot of Freedom

damn I hate waiting when things start to get interesting..
IT'S TRUE THAT WE HAVEN'T SEEN EACH OTHER IN A LONG TIME. BUT YOU ACTUALLY SAID " DO I KNOW YOU? ". IT ALMOST MADE ME CRY ~SIGH~
