Anti-ECS missles, maybe they could just be equipped with an ECCS to make things easier. M9 Gernsbacks are equipped with ECCS.

I don't really think that Sousuke has to worry too much about going into a different class than Kaname in the next or subsequent years, because Mithril will just bribe the school like they already did, and don't some stuff mention that it was because of Kalinin that Sousuke got into the same class as Kaname? But I do think that Sousuke has to worry about his grades. In the novels, he was real worried of failing.

Just watched it. Some random comments:

*Intro Gates: "SHIIIINIIIING FIIIINGAAAH!!!!!"

Everybody's got one these days.
*It's obvious: the assassins were made female to satisfy the drooling fanboy population. That's got to be the reason why their nude forms scroll across the screen in the intro like the Bond girls of yore. (I'm such a hypocrite.

)
*Mithril has RAH-66 Comanches? With ECS? I WANT ONE!!!!!

*It's a pity that our first 'reintroduction' to Kaname has to be so uncomplimentary.

They'd better correct that in the next episode.
*The general looks vaguely like Qaddafi. No surprise there.

*OP/ED, as always, are great.

Watched 1st ep...

It is WARY. Yes, it is HEAVILY WARY that time. The ep starts in HELL. This disappointed me a little... I was prepared to see a completely strange plot like first FMP series.

I'm seeing some connection to the latest anti-terrorist (anti-islamist) actions in the late 2004/early 2005 (Iraq for sure). And it's for sure this movie is more political than the first one.

... Though I liked almost everything... I like ACTION... HEAVY ACTION... I like how the Sousuke and the M9s are drawn. I like new choppers, missiles, etc. etc.

The only thing that disgusted me is Kaname herself. It's obvious they've included her into 1st ep only to not omit her completely. She is completely DISGUSTING here. IMO, it was better not to include her into the WAR ep. at all

Anime-Keep is back in the FMP game.

From what I briefly saw of it they're picture quality looks as good as Bakakozou's. Fonts are good too I guess. They lose points for not explaining to the laymen what ECS and all those other TLAs are though.

I guess if you've been watching FMP since season 1 (as you should have) then you'll be familiar with most of these and that's what Anime-Keep probably decided. But I still had to google EMFC

(no group currently has made a note of this acronym, well, maybe SD Project but with their encoding as it was I couldn't view the file anyway).

Sousuke needs to learn:

1) make sure you have an Egress Plan B when Egress Plan A goes to hell
2) pack your homework in your liberty kit BEFORE going on a mission
3) "There's 4 possibilities, and only one of them calls for finishing your assignments.

you come thru but get a downcheck on your FitRep. Four, you put on the greatest
show since Achillies slew Hector... and only THEN do you do your homework."

Writers apparently know jacks*t about OPS planning and intelligence... ballsy
move on Tessa's part to fix Sousuke's little SNAFU egress, but I don't think command
will be pleased the way she surfaced in the middle of a harbor to do a pickup.
MAJOR blackmark in your copybook.

I'm in Gunbunny HEAVEN over this ep!! And call me anal, but I wanna d/l
every group that subs this... oh, just PLEASE shoot me!

...is Kaname growing up? Or did I just not see her not use a halisen upon
