I agree with this point of view! And more: i suspect Bunny to by Gold in the Amalgam organisation... (Silver being Leonard). Who wants to take up a bet?

That wouldn't make sense ... the AS-LD Amalgam uses seems to be
sub-par compared to the ARX-7 LD.
Wouldn't you think that if bunny would be alive he could have improved it?

Bet is on...

Then for the whole time Tessa has been lamenting about Bunny and speaking of him in the past tense totally without knowing he was still alive. Gatoh could twist some stuff here and there to make it happen, but it will need a big explanation. But if Bunny did come back, I wonder what Tessa's reaction would be since [ecs]she supposedly liked him, or it was the other way around, or both of them liked each other. Bunny seemed fond of her enough to include her into his list of favorite things, and Tessa kind of talked about how she was lost when he died and stuff.[/ecs]

[ecs]I would like to know ONE thing... HOW did exactly Leo defeat Sousuke/ARX-7
with his own mecha? Using superior knowledge of the true potential of LD? Or some "cheap" trick? I find it hard to believe he could beat Sousuke head on considering how willing Sousuke already was to kick his ass... And his regained capability of using LD relatively well[/ecs]

ECS, [ecs]well, Leonard is a Whispered, and his AS might be some tour de force AS that is unrivaled. I'm guessing with those two traits and maybe that Leonard is naturally skilled with AS and LD, he has a pretty good advantage. He's also developed the Venom and Codarl, so if he developed his own AS, I'm sure it would be of way better quality knowing his personality.[/ecs]

ECS... [ecs] AS-LD (Plan-1055) completely crushed Arbalest in COMO... And I don't think it's only due to Whispered's spirit power. The Plan-1055 lambda drive seems to be more powerful, more stable and more reliable. So Bunny could have worked with Leonard to build the Plan-1055, couldn't he? [/ecs] qed?...

You know, I'm starting to wonder if the "Bunny is dead" theory didn't come out of a few people at Animesuki seeing things that, IMO opinion, weren't really there in DVMC, mainly a strange interpretation of the scene in which the Arastols attack Tessa and Sela ("Did its architect program it to listen to her entreaties? No, that couldn't be it. He wasn't that type of person anymore").

See, I always thought that the above was a clear reference to Leonard, not to Bunny. We don't know if Tessa actually knows that Leonard designed the Arastols, but considering Leonard's growing role as an antagonist in the series at the time of DVMC, I don't think it would make very much sense to just randomly throw in hints to a character who's apparently very dead being alive and working for the enemy. Plus, referring to Leonard as not being kind and sensitive anymore seems far more plausible, seeing as how we've actually seen his character by this point; Tessa's also obviously known him her entire life and would be very aware of a complete personality shift if it had happened.

That's just my two cents, anyway. I suppose it's possible that Bunny is alive and the hints are there, but considering both ODBD and DVMC serve as a set-up for Leonard's character, it seems far more logical that Gatou was throwing in a few more references to him rather than serving up some random foreshadowing about another character who hasn't even played that large a role in the series and has never been portrayed as villainous even when he was alive.

I agree with that. I was wondering where all rumors of Bunny being alive were coming from. I saw nothing indicating it, so I was surprised to see so much support for the idea.

For me, [ecs]this idea came from the meeting between amalgam officials decribed in the second part of DVMC. the Gold leader communicated by radioconference with the others and we don't know who he is. He is only described as a whispered and a teenager.So...[/ecs] ECS mode out. But this is only one opinion. Wait and see...

Actually, I spoke to Brandi about that. There was a mistake in the translation. The Whispered teenager was Mr Silver, Leonard. At one point she mixed up silver and gold by mistake. It threw me off too for a while. I was wondering of Leonard was both silver and gold or if there were two Whispereds. That's not the case.

Thanks for the information... So Bunny could be dead. Or not...
anyway, i've got another question: to save Chidori, Sousuke will certainly have to fight against Leonard once more. And without the arbalest , he'll have any chance. The arbalest should have to be rebuild in the same way... who will be able to do that?

Why would Tessa think Bunny was the architect of the Arastols if she knows he's dead? She seems quite clear that she believes him dead, though of course that is what the past posts are debating about. Good thing that's cleared up, I was also confused with Leonard being both Gold and Silver.

To me, the Arbalest has almost no chance of being rebuilt. I don't know the extent of damage [ecs]Leonard[/ecs] inflicted on it, but if it's now just a pile of metal then I don't think it has any hope without Bunny. Even with him the Arbalest is a delicate machine so it might be done either way. Maybe that other Falke unit out there? The same model as Clouzot's. Though it doesn't hold a Lambda Driver.

Maybe Nami's ghost will play a larger role in this. Or maybe Sousuke will find another Whispered. Or maybe Kaname will discover her hidden Whispered talent and use it help Sousuke. It could go a number of ways from here.
